Thinking about laser hair removal? SAVE THIS. š
Thereās a lot of information out there about laser and, unfortunately, a lot of unrealistic expectations too.
So here are a few things I want you to know BEFORE you start.
- Itās a course, not a one-off treatment.
- Your appointments need to be appropriately spaced.
- You need to shave between treatments rather than wax, pluck or epilate.
- Results vary from person to person.
- Hormonal factors can influence your results.
- And most importantly⦠laser is about long-term hair reduction, not a promise that you'll never see another hair again.
Your consultation and patch test are there for a reason.
It's my job to make sure the treatment is suitable for you, explain what you can realistically expect and create a treatment plan based around YOU.
No unrealistic promises.
No āthree sessions and you're hair-free foreverā.
Just honest advice and a treatment plan that makes sense for your skin, hair and goals. š¤
Got a laser question you've always been too scared to ask?

3 YEARS. ONE STUDIO. A LOT HAS HAPPENED⦠š¤
Three years ago, I unlocked the door to Studio 2.0 for the very first time.
I remember being SO excited (and probably slightly terrified) about what this next chapter would bring.
And looking back now⦠wow.
Three years of early mornings, late nights, big decisions, little wins, massive milestones, award wins, plenty of laughter, a few tears, a LOT of coffee and more conversations than I could ever count.
This studio has watched me grow not just as a business owner, but as a person too.
When I moved in, I had big dreams for what this space could become. Three years on, it has evolved alongside me, my business has evolved with it, and Iām now creating something that feels more me than ever.
From the cosy little studio I first created, to the specialist space Iām shaping today⦠itās been quite the journey.
And I genuinely couldnāt have done it without the people who have walked through this door.
You.
Every appointment. Every recommendation. Every review. Every chat. Every āsee you next timeā. Every person who has trusted me with their treatments, their skin, their hair removal, their downtime⦠and sometimes their entire life story š
Youāve helped make these four walls what they are.
So today, Iām celebrating 3 years of Studio 2.0 š„
Three more years of building, learning, growing and figuring it out as I go.
And honestly?
Iām bloody proud of it. š„¹
Hereās to the next chapter⦠whatever that may look like. āØ
Thank you for being here.

Once upon a Christmas⦠šāØ
And all through the house,
not a creature was stirringā¦
except the Christmas diary,
which was slowly defrosting.
Mariah Carey could be heard softly in the distance⦠š¶
And the beauty industry knewā¦
It had begun. šš
āCan you remove this mole for me?ā
Maybe. Maybe not. š
And that's because mole removal isn't as simple as looking at a mole and deciding to remove it cosmetically.
Before treatment, I use Map My Mole to assess and document the lesion, including dermatoscopic photographs, before it's reviewed.
You'll then receive a report within 48 hours outlining what the lesion is, whether it's suitable for treatment and any recommendations or future treatment plans.
And if something needs further investigation?
We stop there.
Your skin's health will always come before a cosmetic treatment. š¤
If you've been considering having a mole or blemish removed, start with an assessment not a treatment.
That little skin tag, milia or blemish that's been driving you mad? š
Thermolysis can be used to treat a range of small, superficial skin concerns, but the first step is always assessment.
Because I don't just look at something and think, āYep, let's zap it.ā
I'll assess the area first to make sure it's appropriate and safe to treat.
And if I don't think it's suitable?
I won't treat it.
Sometimes knowing when NOT to treat is just as important as knowing how to treat. š¤
Got a little blemish you've been wondering about? Drop me a message and we can chat about whether it's something I can help with.

āBut I didn't peel⦠did it even work?ā š
I hear this ALL the time.
And the answer is⦠yes!
More peeling ā better results.
Some chemical peels cause barely any visible shedding.
Others can have you flaking like a croissant. š„š
It all depends on the peel, your skin and what we're actually trying to achieve.
The goal isn't to make your face peel off.
The goal is to improve your skin.
So please don't choose your peel based on the most dramatic TikTok you've seen. š¬
Your skin needs the right treatment, not the strongest one.

Consistency is KEY when it comes to laser š«
I get asked all the time⦠āDo I actually need top-ups?ā
And honestly, yes, you do š
Laser only works on hairs in their active growth phase, and because your hair cycles constantly (thanks hormones š), new hairs can pop through over time.
That doesnāt mean your treatment hasnāt worked, it just means your body is doing its thing.
Top-ups are what keep everything smooth, low-maintenance and exactly how we want it āØ
They stop you slipping backwards and keep your results looking their best.
Youāve already done the hard part⦠this is just maintaining it.
⨠My diary is open for laser top-ups and they do book up quickly.
If youāre due (or very overdue š), nowās your sign.
š² Book via the link in bio or drop me a message and Iāll sort it for you.
POV: you try to squeeze in a quick treatment on yourself between clients⦠and suddenly theyāre early šš
Just me, mid brow fix⦠getting caught out like š«£
Real talk though, if you ever arrive early, please donāt worry or feel awkward! Thatās exactly why Iāve created a little waiting area for you š¤
Unless my door is locked (which just means Iām in the middle of a relaxing treatment), youāre always more than welcome to come in and make yourself comfortable.
Because behind the scenes⦠itās not always as put together as it looks š
