Microneedling! Our clients love it, it is truly an amazing treatment! There are some interesting points that people need to be aware of. Straight after the treatment you will be extremely red as we are puncturing micro channels into the skin with a needle!

Also it is not intended to be relaxing, it can be a bit painful…but nothing unbearable !

You need at least 24-48h post treatment to see the redness disappear! It is vital that you follow all the guidelines for post treatment to get the best out of your Skin Steep treatment!

The skin barrier is sooo important when it comes to healthy beautiful skin! You need to be gentle and be careful with it. When disrupting it and doing treatments such as microneedling and chemical peels we need to be extra cautious and give it extra love! It needs a nice thick moisturiser and a gentle cleanser ! Some of the signs of an impacted skin barrier is:
-Redness
-Dryness
-Dullness
-Sensitivity
-Itchiness

So keep that barrier as strong as possible and your skin will love you for it!

SQUALANE

Its what moisturising dreams are made of! A beautiful ingredient found in the skin meaning it is non irritating. As we are the amount that is found in the skin decreases. Typically it is either derived from plants or olive oil ! It can be found in a lot of moisturising ingredient lists or in a product by itself (tends to be an oil).
Amazing for ALL skin types , simple yet effective !

The one I’m currently trying is the squalane oil! So far it’s amazing and it’s very affordable!
Sleep in the oil for the best results!

MOISTURISER-
It makes your skin happy!
Moisture from within the body is only supplied to the dermis from the blood vessels. This means the top layer of the skin gets some moisture but not as much as it should. Oily,dry, normal and all skin needs moisture, if you strip the skin of its natural oils you will only invite more.
