About Me!

Hello, I’m Lucy.

I am a Registered Nurse and a Microblading and semi-permanent makeup artist offering a 5* service here at Applewood Clinic. Bringing you Microblading and cosmetic tattooing services all from the privacy of my treatment room at home in Haywards Heath, West Sussex with private off road parking.

My love for beauty and makeup started at a young age and I was torn between pursuing a career in the beauty industry or going into nursing as I also had a constant need to help people too. I started off as a health care assistant where I worked in a Hospital. After a few years I then left to become a beauty advisor for a luxury skin care company. After that I decided I wanted to train to be a nurse and qualified in 2011. I am currently still practicing and am a sister at my local hospital. While I loved my nursing career there was always something missing, something else I wanted to do.

When I had my 2 children I had to reduce my hours to fit in with being a mum but I still wanted to work. Now I could train as a Microblading and Semi-Permanent makeup artist which filled me with joy-as I could not only be around for my young family-but I was able to start my own business, working from home and offering Microblading and permanent makeup which I love. The transformation from over plucked brows to beautiful, symmetrical brows makes me so happy. The look on a clients face when they look in the mirror at the final result fills me with joy as I can see how much of a difference eyebrows can make to someone’s face and the confidence it brings them. Now I get the best of both worlds to help people in very different ways… I’m working on a ward to help patients but also working for myself and helping clients achieve perfection. I’m able to make the most of all my skills whilst still providing the help, love and care to everyone around me.
