One of my lovely clients took me out for lunch recently as a thank you for fixing her over the last 6 months.

She’s worked with horses all her life but after her 2nd hip replacement, she started getting problems in the first hip that had previously been replaced.

After removing a lot of tension in her hips & legs and working on improving her mobility, I recommended some gentle strength work.

Now, she is back to riding her horse, cycling, spinning, swimming & gym strength work.

She’s so pleased with what she’s achieved with my help & today is her 70th birthday 🎂 🥂🥰

Love the fact that I have a client who lives in South Africa and comes to see me every time he’s in the UK.

He’s back in SA for Christmas, booked his next massage in February & sent me this great message :

”I am lucky to have you as a key member of my let’s ‘keep the old geezer going’ regime. Thank you. 🙏”

Last Thursday my back did a ping/pop, while I was packing to go away for the weekend!!

I didn’t realise how bad it was at the time & didn’t want to cancel at such short notice. Coincidentally, Craig (who we were visiting) is also a Massage Therapist, so a session with him including cupping and infrared heat treatment definitely helped reduce the pain & improve mobility, so I could enjoy the Halloween party.

However, as soon as I sat down or lay down at night, I stiffen up and struggle to stand, walk, bend or sit again.

On return home, I got an appointment with my trusted physiotherapist (Clare Arundale), who confirmed that I do actually have a herniated disc!!

So lots of ibuprofen/paracetamol, hot water bottle, gentle movement and unfortunately no work for at least this week!!

I’ll be contacting all clients that are booked in and keep you all posted.

My first client this morning walked down the alleyway to my massage room and must’ve walked through a cobweb, as he came in with quite a big spider hanging off his shoulder!! 🕷️

I had to quickly get him back outside to flick it into the garden before it dropped & ran somewhere to hide!

Took me a little while to compose myself !! 😵🫣

Must recobweb every morning!!

When Fred first came to me, he had an issue with a hip joint, poor balance and had frequent falls.

I’m sad to say Fred has had a fatal fall, breaking his other hip, elbow and skull. 

RIP Fred 😢
