Beauty and Personal Training

Photos from Kempt Lifestyle's post 14/04/2026

A few years ago I totally restructured my life. Days were rolling into one and I kept telling myself it will get better. My body looked like life was great because weirdly we seem to be judged on stuff like that but inside I was exhausted. I stepped off the train, read some beautiful books, joined a health club, built some boundaries and made sure my mind caught up with the abs. I now have a much clearer path, know where I’m going, my body just feels like it’s mine again and life looks exciting and interesting instead of feeling like a rinse and repeat. We spend so much time chasing when all we need to do is just relax and get to know ourselves, turn off the noise and just trust.

A week captured. This week I focused on feeding my soul. Work projects got confirmed, old friends appeared, I took out time for me and had a fabulous facial and it just all felt so nourishing ❤️ Learning to go with the flow of life has brought me to a place I didn’t think was possible being such a control freak in the past 😅 Even grief feels different, more natural or maybe just through my growth I have a better understanding?

Thank you 🙏🏻

Nearly six months of training and tracking her food has given my client a 30lb weight loss so far. She gives her sessions with me 100% and is great fun to work with. Watching her strength go up every week, always happy to try, a fantastic attitude to lifting and wanting a healthier lifestyle what more can I ask for? Well done for making this first change and in a time where there are easier options 💪🏻

One year. Two strength training classes a week. New woman.

A few words from Heather.

“I am 63 (62 when I first started strength) and wish I had known about and done strength training 30years ago!
I would recommend it to anyone but you need a good trainer who adapts to your strength and ability (like Emma) and helps you to make the progress like I have been able to do.

Thanks so much Emma # # #”

I love changing women’s lives through finding strength and how it can literally give you back life. Lift for life that’s my motto. I work with a calm, holistic approach that gets results, designing programs that transform women both physically and mentally.

Want to work with me? Send me a message.

I’m not sure the bikini fitness girl ever leaves us 😂

At 53 keeping and building muscle is my top priority not being skinny. I’ve not touched on this subject. I feel there is a place for the weight loss jabs but I think every woman taking them should be strength training and I mean working towards lifting heavy. In midlife we really want to be protecting our bones by doing resistance training which means putting the bones under stress with the weights that’s how we build better, denser bones and keeping sarcopenia at bay (muscle loss) We also want to make sure we keep our balance and mobility as we age and strength work is all about that. So for me as I age it’s always about strength over aesthetics 💪🏻

When I changed the script it started to flow. No chasing goals just working on making my life, health and happiness a normal everyday occurrence. I train to be strong, I eat to fuel my body repairing and nurturing, I’m careful how I feed my thoughts, write more, give myself more time to think. The pressure has gone, my body is more in line with me and I now enjoy a variation of exercise. No more resets. The result a healthier, happier human ✨
