We have a vacancy for a new apprentice school leaver

So on Tuesday 11 th March 40 years ago I entered into 429 Wellington Road North and started Helens Haircare on Maggie Thatchers enterprise allowance scheme, my dad and brother set everything up for me making all the furniture , and I sat reading knitting and cleaning an already tidy shop waiting for customers to come. 40 years later I can proudly say that I still have some customers from those days. I am so grateful for everybody’s friendship and loyalty. A special thankyou to my work sister Katie who has been with me for 25 years, my work daughter Sara 20 years Sophie and Freya and all the girls before them. And of course a massive thankyou to Nick for always having my back, being a great partner and an excellent secretary😆. Here’s to our future May they be many and jolly
