Leah | Stylist & Colour Specialist

Leah brings 10 years of professional hairdressing expertise to the GLOW chair. Driven by a deep love for the art of hairdressing and the vibrant world of hair colour, she specializes in creative colouring. Leah uses her expert technical skills to design jaw-dropping, high-fashion looks that make a real statement.
She is delighted to be offering appointments to new clients!

Emma | Stylist & Extension Specialist

With four years of professional hairdressing experience, Emma brings an amazing eye for detail to the salon floor. Her true love lies in creating high-impact blondes and executing flawless hair extensions. Emma specializes in Nano bead, Micro bead, and Tape-inextension methods, using these advanced techniques to craft total, seamless hair transformations.
She is currently accepting new clients!

Joy | Stylist & Colour Specialist

Joy brings an impressive 28 years of hairdressing experience to the team and truly loves every single aspect of the craft. She spent 18 successful years building her career across Falmouth and Penryn before moving back to Helston—which is where she first met Kristie and Gary while working alongside them in a salon. Joy is deeply passionate about her career, loves continuously learning new and innovative colouring techniques, and is also the very proud mum of a beautiful daughter (and porky pie)🐴

Karen | Stylist, Curl & Blonde Specialist

Karen brings 20 years of hairdressing experience to GLOW. Her career began during her college training in Truro, followed by time spent working in Mullion before establishing herself as a successful freelance stylist.
Having naturally curly hair herself, Karen knows the curl struggle inside out! She has a massive passion for working with natural curls, loving nothing more than teaching clients how to manage and proudly embrace their natural texture.
She also has a huge love for creating gorgeous blondes, from subtle, sun-kissed glows to bright, high-dimension transformations.
Karen is delighted to be accepting new clients!

Gary | Owner & Director

Gary has been hairdressing for well over 40 years, and it remains just as much his passion today as it was when he first started.
Throughout his career, he has always worked in bustling, high-energy salons, including a few major department stores in London back in the day.
Gary relocated to Cornwall 18 years ago, where he and Kristie first joined forces.
For Gary, there is still nothing better than making a client leave the salon feeling amazing about themselves.

Kristie | Owner & Director

With 30 years of experience, Kristie holds advanced teaching and assessing qualifications and has dedicated much of her career to training the next generation of stylists.
After years of working in London, Cheltenham, and Gloucester, she relocated to beautiful Cornwall to raise her family and build her dream business.
Incredibly humbled by her loyal, extensive clientele, Kristie splits her time between busy salon floors and running the ever-growing business.
As a stylist, her passion lies in cutting and styling short hair. As a salon owner, her mission is to lead a friendly, talented team where every client feels welcome and leaves completely uplifted.
