Tried a different route today. Had 4 separate, heart warming chats with people unknown to me - I appreciate I can talk ... but none were initiated by me!😅 Made my day.

First was a chap up on business from Essex, and took the opportunity to do some training for his Kilimanjaro trip. Second was a rugby player from Swansea, exactly the same age as me, similar outlook on life. Third was a very young lad, maybe 20, who'd driven down from Shrewsbury to see the sunrise. He was so excited! I had sat down next to him to eat a sandwich and have a drink, and he kept huffing and hawing, then looking at me fur a reaction. In the end I asked him if he was OK. All he wanted to do was talk about his day, how bloody brilliant 👏🏻
The fourth was a female farmer on a quad bike trying to catch sheep on a narrow lane - I have never seen sheep run so fast! She managed to get ahead of them by driving at what must have been the top speed of her quad, half in and half off the tarmac, got in front of them, pulled a handbrake turn, and redirected them. They came back past me and she stopped to tell me that "they get a bit pokey when they're shawn" - i assume this means that they poke their way through hedges?? Lol! Funny anyway. Nice lady.
