Hello, August brides. 🤍

This month I have the absolute pleasure of working with Kim, Tara and Maddy as they celebrate one of the biggest days of their lives.

I’ll be travelling across Herefordshire and Hay-on-Wye, including visits to The Swan at Hay, Bredenbury Court Barns, and The Barn at Drovers.

Every wedding is completely different, and I can’t wait to create glowing, timeless makeup that feels effortlessly you for each of my August brides.

Here’s to a month of happy tears, golden evenings and beautiful wedding mornings. ✨

The makeup is the easy part.

What you’re really investing in is the person standing beside you on one of the biggest mornings of your life.

Someone who notices you’re feeling overwhelmed before you say a word.
Someone who quietly keeps everything running on time.
Someone who fixes your veil, passes you a tissue, reassures your mum, and reminds you to breathe.

Yes, you’ll have beautiful makeup that lasts all day.

But years from now, when you look back at your wedding morning, you’ll remember how you felt.

Calm.
Looked after.
Confident.
Completely yourself.

That’s what I hope every bride leaves with. 🤍

If you’re planning your wedding and you’re looking for more than just someone to apply makeup, I’d love to be part of your morning.

✨ Save this for when you’re choosing your bridal makeup artist.

People often think they’re booking me because they love my makeup.

And whilst that means the world to me… it’s only half the story.

My job isn’t just to make you look beautiful.

It’s to notice when you haven’t eaten.
To protect you from unnecessary questions.
To keep an eye on the timeline.
To read the room.
To make sure you’re present enough to soak it all in.

Because years from now, I don’t want you to remember feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

I want you to remember laughing with your bridesmaids, hugging your mum, taking a deep breath before you walk down the aisle… and feeling completely yourself.

That’s the experience I want every bride to have. 🤍

✨ Ellen asked for a natural, skin-first glow… and that’s exactly what we created.

The secret isn’t one miracle product—it’s layering hydration, glow and lightweight complexion products in the right order.

Here’s everything I used to create Ellen’s fresh, radiant bridal look 🤍

💧 TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner
💧 Revolution Hydra Base Primer
☀️ Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun SPF50+
✨ Lacura Luminous Filter
🌸 Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush
☀️ Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Glow Bronzer
✨ Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette
🤍 Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder

Soft, glowing skin that still looked like Ellen—just the most radiant version of herself. ✨

Would you like to see more product breakdowns like this? Save this post for your next makeup shop and send it to someone who loves a natural, glowing finish. 🤍

10 things your Maid of Honour actually needs to know 👰🏼‍♀️✨ (so YOU can just enjoy your morning 🤍)

1. Pack a little “calm kit” – snacks, water, pain relief, fashion tape… the unsung heroes.
2. Be the timeline queen. Keep things flowing so the morning feels calm, not chaotic.
3. Ask your hairstylist how to remove your veil properly (no last-minute panic 🙃).
4. Be phone control. Calls, texts, questions… all filtered so the bride can stay present.
5. Learn how to bustle the dress BEFORE the day (trust me on this one 👀).
6. Know your suppliers + be the go-to person for them. The bride shouldn’t be answering questions.
7. Take the behind-the-scenes photos & videos – these are the ones she’ll treasure most 🥹
8. Pack an overnight bag for her (comfies, wipes, little essentials for later).
9. Bring the energy – set the tone on the dancefloor 💃🏼
10. Hype her up ALL day long. You’re not just support… you’re her confidence boost ✨

Your bride only gets this day once.
Help her feel calm, looked after, and completely in the moment 🤍

Send this to your bestie & save it for later 🤍

June, you were good to me. 🤍

8 beautiful weddings. Countless bridal previews. Early starts. Happy tears. Golden hour portraits. Dress reveals. Flowers. Makeup brushes. Long days that never really felt like work.

In between all of that…
✨ Summer evenings around the fire.
🤍 Time with friends.
🌼 Theo finding magic in the little things.
🛁 Moments to slow down.
🐄 Farm life still keeping me grounded.

It’s easy to only show the finished bridal look, but behind every wedding is a month full of people, places and little moments that make this job so special.

Thank you to every bride who trusted me, every supplier who made the days so much fun, and everyone who’s followed along this month. I never take it for granted.

Here’s to a beautiful July… it’s officially wedding season in full swing. 🤍✨

July Bride 🤍

July brides have a certain kind of magic.

The month of golden evenings, wildflowers, warm skin, happy tears and celebrations that seem to last forever. The month where all the planning finally becomes the memories you’ve been dreaming of.

If you’re getting married this month, I hope you soak up every second. The quiet moments while your makeup is being done. The butterflies before you walk down the aisle. The hugs, the laughter, the dance floor and everything in between.

Here’s to a month full of love stories. ✨

🤍 Save this if you’re a July bride and want to remember how this season felt.

📩 Share this with every July bride you know – their countdown is officially on. ✨

Some reviews stay with you.

Not because they tell you your makeup looked beautiful…

But because they remind you how someone felt.

Reading Daisy’s message took me straight back to her trial. I remember how nervous she was about looking “too done” and how important it was for her to still feel like herself.

Seeing her describe feeling calm, confident and like “the glowiest, most perfect version” of herself is exactly why I love what I do.

Being part of someone’s wedding morning is never just about makeup. It’s about creating a calm space, listening, reassuring, and helping you walk into one of the biggest days of your life feeling completely like you.

Thank you, Daisy, for trusting me and for taking the time to send such a thoughtful message. It means more than you know. 🤍

✨ If you’re looking for a bridal makeup artist who’ll help you feel like yourself—just elevated—I’d love to chat. Send me a DM with the word “BRIDE” and let’s start planning your wedding morning.

10 things the Mother of the Bride actually needs to know 👰🏼‍♀️🤍 (so the morning feels like a memory, not a marathon)

1. Your job is presence, not logistics — let someone else hold the timeline.

2. Have your outfit steamed and ready the night before. Morning surprises nobody needs.

3. Eat breakfast. Properly. You’ll thank yourself at 3pm.

4. Let the bride lead the vibe — mirror her energy, don’t set it.

5. Have a private moment planned with her, even just five minutes.

6. Know who the lead supplier contacts are — so she doesn’t get asked twice.

7. Bring tissues. Put them somewhere you can actually reach them 🥹

8. Your reaction when you see her will be one of her most treasured moments. Take a breath before you walk in.

9. Stay off your phone during prep — be IN it.

10. Tell her she’s beautiful more than once. Then tell her again.

She’ll remember how the morning felt. Help make it feel like love. 🤍

Send this to the mother of your bride — she’ll be so grateful you did.

Save it if you’re the MOB and you want to get this right 🤍

Suze married Owain yesterday at Glynynwydd Wedding Barn and what a gorgeous morning it was. 🤍

At her bridal preview we created a look she loved.

But like a lot of brides, once she’d sat with it for a while, she had a clearer idea of how she wanted to feel on her wedding day.

So we made a few changes.

More glow through the skin.

A little more definition.

A soft wing.

Small refinements that elevated the look and brought everything together beautifully.

And this is exactly why I love bridal previews.

Not because we have to get everything perfect first time.

But because they give us the opportunity to collaborate.

To explore.

To tweak.

To refine.

So when your wedding morning arrives, you’re not wondering if you’ll love your makeup.

You already know you will.

Suze looked absolutely incredible and it was such a privilege to be part of her day. ✨
