No, I’m not training for space travel… 🚀
One of the things I love about working at the Hereford Oxygen & Wellness Centre is how welcoming and supportive it feels. There’s a real sense of community, with people from all walks of life coming together to support their wellbeing.
Many local people will remember it by its former name, the MS Centre. While it continues to support people living with MS, the centre now welcomes people with a wide range of chronic health conditions. Many members find oxygen therapy helpful in supporting their wellbeing and managing symptoms such as pain.
Several years ago, I experienced chronic fatigue myself. Although I was already a reflexologist at the time, going through my own health challenges gave me an even deeper appreciation of therapies that support wellbeing. Reflexology was one of the things that helped me during that period, and it strengthened my passion for helping others.
That’s one of the reasons I’m proud to offer discounted reflexology sessions to centre members. It’s my small way of giving something back to a community that supports so many people.
If you’ve never visited before, you’re always guaranteed a warm welcome. ❤️
Have you heard of the Hereford Oxygen & Wellness Centre before?

During perimenopause, I’m finding that regular reflexology helps me stay grounded and feel more like myself.
Experiencing the benefits for myself is a gentle reminder of why I’m so passionate about supporting other women through this stage of life.
Sometimes, we all need a little support—and yes, reflexologists need reflexology too 🌿

I’ve never been someone who finds social media easy.
I’ve often felt I should be posting more, making reels, showing my face and being more visible online.
But lately I’ve realised that not every phase of life is about being seen.
As I navigate this season of change, I feel as though I’m in a kind of metamorphosis. And rather than pushing against it, I’m choosing to honour it.
There are times in life to be outward-facing, confident and visible. And there are times to go within, reflect deeply, and listen to what your body and soul are asking for.
Women often experience this during perimenopause and menopause because:
• Hormones can affect confidence, energy and motivation
• Priorities begin to shift
• We start questioning what really matters
• We feel called to slow down and reconnect with ourselves
Our monthly cycles have always contained both energies — times for action and times for rest, times for showing up and times for going within. During perimenopause and menopause, those inward seasons can feel longer and deeper.
So whilst I may never be the most prolific person on social media, I am here.
Still treating clients.
Still passionate about reflexology.
And perhaps more understanding than ever of what many women are navigating.
Reflexology can offer a space to pause, breathe, reconnect with yourself and feel supported through the physical and emotional changes of this stage of life.
If you’re moving through your own season of change, know that you’re not alone. 💗

We often think of stress as “just in our head” — but chronic stress can affect the whole body, impacting sleep, hormones, digestion, immunity and overall wellbeing.
One of the reasons I love reflexology is that it offers dedicated time for the body to slow down and switch out of constant “fight or flight” mode. Regular reflexology helps calm the nervous system, support relaxation and give the body space to reset in our busy, overstimulated world….
An interesting read on the link between chronic stress and physical health:
What does stress really do to our bodies – and when does it become a big problem? From an elevated heart rate to weakened immunity, experts explain the hidden physical costs of chronic stress – and why our bodies aren’t built to stay on high alert
I’ve just had a couple of rare spaces open up tomorrow for treatments at Hereford.
If you’ve been feeling stressed, overwhelmed, tired, or like you just need a proper pause and unwind, this might be exactly what your body’s asking for.
I offer reflexology, deeply relaxing and supportive for bringing the body back into balance.
I also offer AromaTouch, a gentle essential oil treatment along the back and feet that is deeply calming for the nervous system and really grounding.
If you’d like one of the spaces tomorrow, just message me — there are only a couple and they’ll go quickly.
