The softest delicate heals 😍

We don't always get a chance to get photos of healed work but when this lovely client brought her daughter's in for matching tattoos, I just had to snap this!

So beautiful, no harsh lines, just how I like it.

BTW this is no shade on more traditional tattoos, this is a complete personal preference on style of tattooing 🩷

Would you believe this beauty doesn't have any brow hair 😍

After we spent a while removing some old brows my client wasn't happy with (not my work) we gave her some beautiful new brows last year.

This week was time for a little top up and to create a slightly fuller look. Safe to say we're both super happy with the results 🩷

ORANGE BROWS 😳

Warm brows. By warm we mean orange 🍊

Don't panic when initially brows look very warm in tone. That ink will cool dramatically in the skin, I always warm up ink to ensure you don't end up with the dreaded blue/grey Sharpie brows.

This client was very cool in tone, you can see that blue/ purple hue on the skin.

It's never a case of choosing a colour you like the look of and off we go.

There's so much science, skin knowledge, ink knowledge, technical implantation of the ink that goes into choosing the correct colours. P.S I never let a client choose what colour they like. That's my job, I also very rarely choose a colour from one ink, I mix my own 🎨 to ensure a truly perfect shade to compliment your skin, eyes and ensure the ink is as stable as possible in the skin long term.

The only way to tell how good a tattooist really is, by looking at their aged work.

Creating a pretty hairstroke pattern with a tattoo machine is hard!! Arguably the hardest eyebrow technique to master. What's even more important is knowledge of the ink, the needle, the technique used to ensure LONG TERM RESULTS!

Pack too much of the wrong ink type (or to much of any ink) in the skin = blocky over saturated brows.

Slightly too deep (we're talking less the a mm difference) = blown out black/grey ink that won't leave the skin and will migrate over time.

Hairstrokes placed too close together, they will merge and look messy after a few years.

Top ups too soon = blurred mess. Too much ink in the skin it has no where to go but expand into the hairstrokes next to it.

Slightly wrong colour choice = grey brows.

Not hitting that stroke dead on every time you go over it = blurry mess.

Wrong needle diameter for that skin type = trauma and patchy retention

Wrong type of ink for that client = too little or too much retention.

I've been tattooing these brows for years, they still look amazing, natural, not cool and ashy, not blurred into a mess. Whilst all skin types are different, hold different, heal different. This is a typically more challenging skin type to tattoo, but knowing what tools your working with and extensive knowledge of the skin and inks allows me to create natural looking brows, even when they are years old.

Some skin types, no matter how knowledgeable and talented as an artist you are will blur pigment over the years. In that case a quick zap of the laser and we have a fresh canvas to start again. No one needs to be walking around with bad brows in 2026!

These brows would not have been suitable for a standard, hairstroke pattern. They need movement and density in areas, the un done look. I actually used 3 colours on these brows creating a 3D effect on a 2D tattoo.

It's honestly the best feeling after nearly 7 years of doing this how excited I still get over every face I get to tattoo, they are all so different and all require a completely bespoke treatment.

Do you still do fine line tattoos?!

I always get asked this and YES! I do, I'm quite picky about the tattoos I choose to take on as it's quite a specific style I prefer to work with.

I definitely need to start posting more of them because I actually love doing them!

Having over 30,000 work pictures on my phone is ironic since I am so rubbish at posting them on social media 🙈

So here we go, throw back to some brows I done last year that came up on my memories today. Beautiful, natural hairstrokes for a long time client of mine.
