Migration can happen with any hyaluronic acid filler. A small amount isn’t always a problem—but when filler is repeatedly layered without respecting the natural anatomy of the lips, the risks increase.

Over time, excessive filler can contribute to:
• Loss of lip definition
• Product sitting outside the natural lip border
• Tissue stretching
• Changes to the way the lips move and feel
• A less predictable foundation for future treatments

Dissolving the filler can remove the product, but it doesn’t always reverse every tissue change. Depending on the individual, the lips may need time to recover before they can be safely and beautifully re-treated.
