🤷‍♀️ You’ve finally finished your course of laser hair removal but now you keep hearing the word maintenance...
Why would we need a maintenance session and are they necessary?

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Everyone is different:
Laser hair removal works by targeting the hair follicles when your hair is actively growing. Not all of your hairs will be in this phase at the same time, so the more treatments you can have, the more hairs you will successfully target. Everybody’s hair grows at different rates and responds differently, so you might notice the odd few hairs a year or so after you’ve completed your course. A maintenance course (normally 3 sessions rather than 6 at a highly discounted price) will help remove theses annoying little strays!

🤰 Hormonal changes can cause regrowth:
Sometimes, even in areas where the hair follicles have successfully been destroyed, new follicles can still develop through these hormonal changes. For example: pregnancy, breastfeeding, menopause etc or hairs will even sprout in areas that your body is trying to naturally protect that area of skin.

If you suffer with a hormonal condition like polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS), laser hair removal will help manage your regrowth however this will be an ongoing course to stay on top of any stubborn areas and achieve the best results possible for you.

💪 No hair removal treatment can remove 100% of your hair permanently, but a little maintenance can go a long way. You’ve invested the time, money and effort to have the initial treatment done, so don’t let a bit of regrowth take you back to square one.

What a weird inconsistent year we've had. It's taught us to appreciate the time spent with loved ones but of course the time away from work has come with it's difficulties.
