Brow Lamination & Lash lift 🪞✨

What is a brow lamination and a lash lift?

Brow Lamination:
Brow lamination is a beauty treatment that smooths, straightens, and sets the eyebrow hairs in place to create a fuller, more defined, and lifted look. A tint is also applied based on personal preference — you can choose a darker shade for a bold, fuller finish or a softer tint for a more natural yet enhanced look that keeps the brows fluffy and full. The results typically last 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your hair type and aftercare.

Lash Lift:
A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that enhances your natural lashes by lifting and curling them from the root. It gives the appearance of longer, fuller lashes without the need for extensions or mascara, and the results usually last around 6 to 8 weeks.

Face behind the business..

Hi, I'm Shola - I'm 26 and I've been in the beauty industry for over five years. My journey started in college, where I studied makeup. I began taking on makeup clients from my bedroom at home, building my confidence and perfecting my skills.
Around that time, I spotted a new salon opening up near me and immediately felt drawn to it—l really wanted to work there. But with no confidence to reach out, I was too nervous to message them myself. So, my sister messaged them for me, pretending to be me😂 I was asked to do a trail for the spot to rent a chair and got the position right away. I was so excited for this new chapter.

Then lockdown hit, I took on a new skill. My sister had just completed a lash course but decided not to continue with it - so l practised on her, and soon enough, friends and family started asking me for lash treatments too. I fell in love with it straight away and knew this was something I wanted to pursue seriously. I got qualified and began offering lash services to clients.

A year later, I expanded my skills again, completing a brow course with FABHQ — the salon that's been like a second family to me for the past five years. It was one of the best decisions l've made.

I'm so proud of how far I've come, and I'm always looking to grow, learn and level up so I can continue offering the very best treatments to all my amazing clients.

As l've grown beyond offering just makeup services, I felt it was time to evolve my business name from Shola Elise Makeup. Over the past year, l've been exploring different name ideas, but none truly resonated with me-until I landed on Face Card Cosmetics. It was unique, not already on the market, and most importantly, it captured the essence of what I want my brand to represent. To me, "face card" is about confidence and beauty, and my goal is for every client to leave their appointment feeling confident and the best version of themselves.
