We did a removal and did a fresh set. Anyone is welcome to go wherever they please but for the love of god PLEASE know what products are being used on your nails. I know these “chop shops” in Heywood are convenient as you can walk in but is it really worth your nail health? I’ve had to remove MMA (methyl methacrylate) before doing a fresh set. If you don’t know about MMA it’s a chemical found in monomers (the purple smelly liquid for acrylic) that these chop shops are using and it is not only toxic but also flammable 🔥

Removals take far longer than normal, damage can occur to your own nails, you have a higher chance of developing an allergy, it smells, its glue like when acetone is applied to soak it off etc the list goes on. I do understand that these shops are quicker but when you think about it they don’t care about hygiene, your nail health, it’s a conveyor belt of people (one for applying, another for filing, another for painting and don’t even get me started on the sanding bands they use on multiple people 🤢

I’m literally just trying to educate people. Some of you might not be bothered and that’s completely fine but there may be the odd few that aren’t aware of this just like my client today and now won’t return to these “shops”.
