Leeches for varicose veins - is it worth trying?🤓😀

If you have a heavy feeling in your legs, calf cramps, subcutaneous haemorrhages, and networks of thickened veins form on your legs that can cause pain and inflammation, consider leeches.
Varicose veins are caused by faulty valves in the veins that leave blood in the vessels instead of flowing straight to the heart. The collected blood widens the veins and makes them more bulky, causing inflammation in the legs and causing itching.

How does hirudotherapy work on varicose veins?

Sucking blood by leeches improves microcirculation, i.e .:

👉 the blood supply and oxygenation of tissues improves,

👉 the lymph flow is improved,

Pierwsze zetknięcie z pijawkami w 1992 r. nastąpiło w Klinice imienia Humboldta w Berlinie. Pani Ordynator przepisała jej terapię pijawkami. Profesor był wielce zdumiony, kiedy po kilku dniach pacjentka poczuła się wręcz znakomicie. Zdumienie budził fakt, że taka z pozoru anachroniczna metoda mogła pomóc na bóle kolan!

W szpitalu Moabit Profesor widział tyle sukcesów w leczeniu stawu kolanowego pijawkami, że nie mógł przejść obok nich obojętnie. Wiele lat póżniej w Klinice Medycyny Naturalnej w Essen otrzymał możliwość przeprowadzenia badań medycznych.
Wykazały one zadziwiającą skuteczność pijawek💪💪💪.
Raport z badań został opublikowany w renomowanym brytyjskim czasopiśmie: "Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases".
