I hear this phrase all the time from mums:
“I just assumed this was how it was supposed to be.”

After a caesarean, things like pain, tightness or numbness are often brushed off, not because they don’t matter, but because mums are so busy caring for everyone else.

We’ll rush to the doctor at the smallest sign our child is uncomfortable, yet ignore our own bodies for months… sometimes years.

While healing looks different for everyone, ongoing discomfort isn’t something you have to simply accept.

You don’t have to just put up with it.

So many women are sent home after a caesarean with little or no aftercare advice! They are left thinking that numbness, tightness or discomfort is just something they have to live with.

Scar massage is about supporting healing, restoring sensation, easing restriction and helping you feel more connected to your body again.

If you’ve had a caesarean and have been quietly wondering whether scar massage might help, support is available.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions or would like to know more. 💜
