Well… this is the post I’ve been putting off writing.
After more than two years at Gemini Studio, my time at Leeming has come to an end as I move on to my next posting and begin a new chapter.
I’ve sat here so many times trying to find the right words, but the truth is, there aren’t enough words to express just how much these past two years have meant to me.
When I first arrived at Leeming, I never imagined the impact this place and the people here would have on my life. What I thought would simply be a workplace became a community, a second home, and a place filled with some of the most genuine, supportive, and wonderful people I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting.
To my clients — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for trusting me, not only with your hair, but with your stories, your laughter, your tears, and the little moments in between. So many of you walked into the salon as clients and left as friends. The conversations we’ve shared, the milestones we’ve celebrated together, and the relationships we’ve built are things I will cherish forever.
You have supported me through every step of my journey here. You filled my days with laughter, gave me purpose on difficult days, celebrated my successes, and reminded me why I love what I do. I genuinely looked forward to coming to work because of the people I knew I’d get to see.
Leaving is far more emotional than I expected. It’s hard to say goodbye to a place that has given me so many memories and to people who have become such an important part of my life. While Leeming may have been a temporary posting, the connections I’ve made here will stay with me long after I’ve left.
As I look ahead to what’s next, I do so with a heart that is full. Full of gratitude, full of memories, and full of appreciation for every single person who has supported me along the way.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives, even in a small way. Thank you for every appointment, every recommendation, every kind word, every laugh, and every moment shared. You have made these past two years unforgettable.
Although it’s time for me to leave, a piece of my heart will always remain here at Leeming.
This isn’t just goodbye to a salon; it’s goodbye to a chapter of my life that I will always look back on with immense pride, gratitude, and love.
