It's been tough seeing all the lovely nails I've been doing and not taking pictures..but It hasn't felt right to show off my work but let's see what September brings.

Online bookings are now active again, thank you all for the support you've given me so far.
I also apologise if i'm a little slower during appointments atm i'm finding it hard to get back to my usual pace but i will get there xx

The salon is now closed until Tuesday.

I'm not sure how I'm going to be after tomorrow and then returning to work next week but I will keep all customers updated if I need to cancel if things are just too much x

She told me I shouldn't take a risk, that having my own salon was just a dream, and that I just had a baby. I'm never one for listening... I opened my first salon in 2014. She came to the grand opening with flowers and this card telling me how proud she was. This card has sat under my desk in every salon I've owned for 12 years now. Thank you mum for everything, thank you for making me determined to not fail. Thank you for buying my first lot of scissors and a few pairs after that too ❤️ for not moaning when I quit my job to work elsewhere and for always supporting me.

I love that I've just found out you used to perm hair you must have had a secret flare of being a hairdresser which came out in me.

I will carry on making you proud and working hard ❤️

Thank you all for those who have sent me such lovely messages, cards and gifts. I'm going to try to come in next week on reduced hours to see how I get on with being back in the salon.

I have still not broken down so I'm still waiting for this to hit me at some point.

I will be in touch with clients if I need to shuffle appointments around to accommodate my reduced hours just so I can have some time between clients for a breather.

Today my mum gained her wings and is now resting up in heaven.

I can't truly comprehend what has happened in the last 7 days.

She fought on till the very end until her body couldn't take anymore.

I will be having some time off at this very difficult time.

Thank you all for your kind wishes and prayers over the past week.

I thought I would write a little update on what's happening with my mum as this might make it easier when I do return to work, that I won't have to keep talking about it as it's pretty extensive and extremely upsetting.

Mum fell from the loft on Monday, each significant injury she has sustained is life threatening but combined is just too much.

We have been told the first 8+ days are going to be the most critical for her.

On Friday her body finally caught up with her scans as she was looking better than what the scans were showing and she took a turn for the worse.

Yesterday she stayed stable. We need a few more stable days with her heart. And we may be a little closer for her to get through this.

I don't know at this point where this is going to head. We are all hoping and praying shes strong enough to pull through. If we get to a stage where she's past being critical I will then slowly return back to work.

They have also given us the worse outcome and that is that she doesn't make it out.

The booking system has been closed down for 3 months so I don't receive any new bookings. You should be able to log on and cancel your appointments though if you need to book elsewhere due to the uncertainty.

Tuesday 14th salon closure.

The salon will be remaining closed on the 14th July.

My mum still has a few more extremely critical days to get through.

Yesterday was a big scare and we just need her to carry on fighting and being strong ❤️
