A little something different at Hidden Brow Bar 🤎

Holly wanted darker, straighter brows with a slit for a more fashion-led look.

During her consultation, we talked about how to create that shape while preserving as much of her natural brow hair as possible. Rather than removing lots of hair to force a straight line, I worked with what she already had to create the look she wanted.

A bolder result than my usual soft, natural brows, but still completely tailored to the person sitting in my chair.

KOREAN LASH LIFT — WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE? ✨

You might have heard people talking about Korean Lash Lifts recently and wondered whether they’re just another name for a traditional lash lift.

They’re not quite the same.

A Korean Lash Lift uses a different technique to work with the natural lashes and create lift from the root, rather than relying on a traditional shield to create the curl.

The result can be a beautifully lifted, open-eyed effect while still looking very natural.

They can be particularly lovely if your lashes naturally grow downwards or you want them to look longer and more visible without adding extensions.

And these are Ava’s own natural lashes ❤️

As always, I’ll look at your natural lashes first and recommend the treatment and result that suits you, rather than treating every set of lashes exactly the same.

“They’re back.” 🤎

That was Cloey’s reaction when she saw her brows.

After being off on maternity leave, she’s starting to think about returning to work, and getting her brows back felt like one of those little steps towards feeling like herself again.

Cloey loves that no makeup, makeup look. She wanted definition, but nothing heavy or overly perfect.

When I looked at her natural brows, the fronts were finer than the centres, particularly on the left. Rather than trying to force perfect symmetry, I used Oak Hybrid Stain strategically, adding colour only where it was needed to bring the brows back into balance.

The result is still completely Cloey.

Just softer, more balanced and beautifully defined.

And apparently… “they’re back.” 😂🤎

“I love the idea of more defined brows… I just don’t want them too dark.”

This is probably one of the things I hear most from clients.

Hybrid brows don’t have to mean big, dark or heavily made-up brows.

For this client, the aim was to create more structure and definition while still keeping the finished result soft enough to suit her face.

And yes… that middle stage can look slightly alarming 😂
The stain is applied much darker while it develops, but that’s not the finished result.

This room was never going to be simply somewhere to put a treatment bed.

I wanted it to feel private, unhurried and reassuring. Somewhere you can talk honestly about your brows, ask all the questions you need to and know that your treatment will be planned around your face, your features and the result you actually want.

There were paint samples, repairs, boxes everywhere and rather more discussion about beige than any reasonable person should have to endure 😂

But Hidden Brow Bar 2.0 is finally taking shape, and it already feels like home.

TEEN BROW SHAPING ✨

One of the biggest things I want to preserve when shaping younger brows is exactly what they already have.

Teen brows don’t need to be dramatically thinned, heavily defined or reshaped into whatever happens to be trending.

For this appointment, I worked with her natural growth, removing only what we needed to and creating a little more shape and balance.

The aim? Neater, more defined brows that still look completely like hers.

And because younger brows can change as they grow, preserving that natural fullness now gives us much more to work with later.

My Teen Advanced Wax is for ages 11–15 and doesn’t include tint. It’s simply careful, age-appropriate shaping with a proper consultation first.

She’s an absolute sweetheart, and just look at those lashes!
