Checking your breasts regularly means becoming familiar with how they normally look and feel, so you’re more likely to notice if something changes.

A new lump or thickening, changes in shape or size, skin dimpling, ni**le changes or unusual discharge, and persistent pain or swelling are all changes worth getting checked.

Most breast changes won’t be cancer, but never feel like you’re wasting anyone’s time by asking for advice. If something doesn’t feel normal for you, contact your GP.
