5 years ago today, I nervously welcomed my very first clients and officially started this self-employed journey. I had no idea what the next 5 years would look like, or whether I would ever be able to turn this little dream into something I could be proud of.
This business has become, without a doubt, my proudest achievement. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the absolute best thing I’ve ever done. The hours are long, my back hurts and my brain is *always* on work mode, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
I feel so lucky to have clients that feel like friends, I look forward to our appointments like they’re just a catch up. I will never stop saying thankyou, whether I’ve met you once or I see you every month, you collectively enable me to have a job that doesn’t feel like work, and for that I couldn’t be more grateful.

Do you want to see how we created these brows?
Our signature Eyebrow Wax & Tweeze:
- the skin is cleaned, prepped & protected before waxing
- today we’re using the easy glide pink cremé passionfruit wax from
- for each waxing section, a new wax stick is used to avoid contamination, using a new stick everytime ensures that no bacteria, dead skin cells, or hairs from previous clients are transferred into the wax
- so excited to be using these BB branded wax strips for this wax, like the wax sticks, each wax strip is disposable and one-use only to avoid contamination
- after waxing, we tweeze any little hairs that were too short for the wax to catch
- we finish with a light application of aloe vera if requested, this can help reduce redness as it’s an anti inflammatory and has antibacterial properties
