Understanding how to perform a treatment is only part of becoming a good practitioner.

Microneedling is not about creating damage. It is about understanding skin physiology, wound healing, collagen production, and making evidence-based clinical decisions.

Botulinum toxin treatments are commonly used to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and, in some cases, help prevent them from becoming more established over time.
These treatments work by temporarily reducing the activity of specific muscles responsible for repeated facial expressions, helping the overlying skin appear smoother whilst maintaining natural movement.

The mistakes I see most often from new injectors are rarely related to talent.
They are usually related to rushing foundations.
Focusing on product instead of technique.
Skipping thorough consultations.
Following trends instead of clinical judgement.
Neglecting anatomy.
Overtreating.
Believing one course is enough.
And stopping education too soon.
Good aesthetics is not about doing more.
It is about understanding anatomy, assessing patients properly, prioritising safety, and knowing when less is more.
