There’s something really special about this time of year. The mornings are cooler, the evenings draw in, and everything around us begins to slow down a little.
For our bees, autumn is a time of preparation. On warmer days they’ll still be out making the most of the last forage, while inside the hive the colony begins settling in for the colder months ahead. We keep a close eye on each hive, checking they have everything they need to head into winter strong and well stocked.
It’s a seasonal shift we feel at the Bee Barn too. As the weather cools, our skincare routines naturally change: lighter summer products make way for richer creams, nourishing oils and those comforting little rituals that feel especially welcome on a dark autumn evening.
For us, autumn is about slowing down, taking care, and appreciating the natural rhythm of the seasons. From the bees in our hives to the small batches being made in the Bee Barn, nature continues to sit at the heart of everything we do.
