A little reminder from Roxy & Kya to take extra care of yourselves in this heat. 💜

💧 Drink water regularly throughout the day
🌿 Take breaks and stay in the shade where possible
🧊 Keep cool and avoid spending long periods in direct sunlight
🤍 Listen to your body and slow down if you need to

For my lovely pregnancy clients, remember to keep an eye on any ankle swelling, rest as much as you can, stay hydrated, and try to avoid prolonged sun exposure during the hottest part of the day. 🤰💕

✨ Feeling a little sore after your massage? Don’t worry – it’s completely normal! 💆‍♀️

After every treatment, I always explain that some clients may experience mild soreness or tenderness the day after a massage, especially if it’s been a while since their last treatment or if we’ve worked on areas of tightness and tension.

Massage encourages increased circulation, releases muscle tension, and helps your body flush out built-up waste products. As your muscles adjust and recover, you may notice a similar feeling to what you’d experience after gentle exercise.

The good news? This is usually a sign that your body is responding to the treatment and should settle within 24–48 hours.

To help ease any post-massage soreness, drink plenty of water, keep moving gently, and allow yourself time to rest if needed.

☀️ Hot Weather Reminder! Please read ⬇️

With temperatures set to soar this week, please make sure you’re keeping well hydrated, staying out of the sun where possible, and taking extra care of yourselves. 💧

As many of you know, massage therapy is quite a physical job, and working in extreme heat can sometimes affect my ability to provide treatments at the high standard I always aim for. If the temperatures become too much, I may need to reschedule some appointments to next week when it’s a little cooler.

I will contact anyone affected directly, and I sincerely apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. Your comfort, safety, and the quality of your treatment are always my priority.

Those annoying “knots” are simply areas where muscle fibres have become tight and tense, often due to stress, poor posture, repetitive movements, or muscle overuse.
