Are you or do you know any hair stylists looking for work?

We are looking for a qualified hair stylist to come and join us in our busy little salon based in the Chilton moor area of houghton le spring

This would be on a part time-employed basis

Hours, working days/ times can be negotiated

The ideal candidate must hold an NVQ level 3 in hairdressing and be able to carry out all aspects of ladies hairdressing and be up to date with the latest industry trends.
Have experience of working in a busy salon environment
Being able to cut and style men’s hair is preferred too but not essential.

CUSTOMER NOTICE

Unfortunately over the last couple of weeks we have had multiple people not turn up for their appointments. We understand things may crop up unexpectedly last minute but we would appreciate being told you won’t be attending your appointment.
As many of you know we are a staff member down now so we are busier than usual, we are turning people away or having to book people in a week or two after they originally wanted due to being fully booked. Those not turning up, their appointments could of been given to them people.
We are also a small business and can’t afford to be turning people away.
Going forward to help prevent this keep happening, those that have failed to attend their appointments without letting us know or giving notice will be asked to leave a non refundable deposit upon re-booking.

This lady came to me wanting to go from box dyed purple to blonde, I explained it would be a working progress and would take multiple appointments to get to desired colour whilst maintaining the condition of her hair. Today she had a her first appointment and we are both really pleased how it has turned out (for those who arnt aware purple is a nightmare to remove and lighten) but nevertheless we are on our way to the light side, picture is colour before and after her first appointment 🙌 looking forward to seeing where the next session takes us ☺️
