I’m incredibly proud to say that I will graduate in Paramedic Science this year but Browshed is where my heart lies.

I appreciate you all I really do!
I keep having random outbursts of tears, I’ve turned into an emotional wreck but they aren’t sad tears, more of joy and relief that it’s done and I achieved it!
I passed, I’m done, I will graduate 👩🎓
The last 5 years have been some of the hardest, busiest, most emotional and rewarding years of my life.
At 35 years old, I decided to completely change my career.
I went back to night school to get my Maths and English GCSEs whilst working full time because I’d never had the opportunity to get them when I was younger. I then made one of the biggest decisions of my life and left a good, secure job to chase a dream that, if I’m honest, felt impossible at times.
I completed an Access to Health Sciences course, where I achieved distinctions in almost every assignment, won the Outstanding Learner Award, and earned a place at the University of Huddersfield.
I built and grew my own business, worked part time at Aldi during college, completed countless placement hours, spent many nights writing assignments until the early hours, renovated our house, celebrated my son turning 18, turned 40 myself and got engaged
There were plenty of sacrifices along the way. Missed nights out, cancelled plans, exhaustion, self-doubt and moments where I questioned whether I was good enough and there were a lot of tears!
But what I’ll treasure most isn’t just the qualifications.
It’s the people.
I’ve met some of the most amazing friends on this journey—people who supported me, laughed with me, encouraged me when I doubted myself and have become friends for life. ❤️
To my family and friends , thank you for believing in me even when I wasn’t sure I believed in myself. And sorry for being a stressy mare at times 😬
To my clients, thank you for supporting my business throughout this journey, you have been so amazing 🥰
For now I am pressing pause, before starting my career as a paramedic. After five years of juggling work, university, business and family life, I’m choosing to spend some quality time with the people I love, continue growing my business and enjoy a little breathing space.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that you’re never too old to start again, and it’s never too late to chase something that matters to you.
Here’s to the next chapter 🚑 And on to the next 5 year plan

From my first day of uni to my last day (hopefully)!!
Big OSCE day! It has been most stressful, emotional, tiring, draining time of my life and I have never worked so hard for something ever!!! But I have made some of the most amazing friendships and had sooo many laughs and made some cracking memories. I’m gonna miss so many of you!!
For anyone that’s thinking of doing a degree later on in life, I will say it is bloody hard work and don’t ever think it will be easy because it won’t, life is crazy for most but when u throw kids, relationships, mortgage and even business into that it’s like carrying a pint of beer in your hands with no glass and trying to drive a bus with no brakes at the same time (best way I can describe it)… but u will get there especially when you have the right people around u.
So let’s go do this!
