What I have always loved about holidays is the excuse to read literally for hours and hours without guilt! Our holiday this year was very different we spent lots of time out and about! I did manage 1.5 books and I’ve just finished the other half making it 2 😆

First of all The Bullet that Missed 🔫 by its even better than the first 2 and I don’t have a picture because I’ve passed it on already! I enjoyed it so much proper laugh out loud moments with intrigue and fabulous characters. I love that the characters are older - who says you can only be interesting if you are young!

The Humans by conversely is very different and I was completely captivated by the lead character who is an alien 👽 it deals with some dark subjects but it’s so uplifting and highlights both the beauty and futility of being human with humour ❤️

I highly recommend both of these they were an absolute pleasure to read and I’ve already ordered my next reads which happen to be from both these authors 😄
