This isn't me telling you to throw all your supermarket shampoo and conditioner in the bin... because that's not what this post is about..... or is it!? 🤣🤣
There are some perfectly decent supermarket products out there.
BUT...
If you're spending good money having your hair professionally coloured, lightened, a keratin treatment or having extensions fitted, then going home and using the cheapest shampoo and conditioner you can find is a bit like buying a brand-new car and never servicing it. 🚗💭
You're investing in beautiful hair... so why not protect that investment?
One thing I see all the time in the salon is clients with fine hair (like mine!) using conditioners that are simply too heavy for them. The result? Hair that feels flat, limp and gets greasy quickly.
✨ The truth is, conditioner isn't the enemy... it's the WRONG conditioner that's the problem!

What a day... and what an incredible community. 🥹
Last Sunday, Esme set out with one simple goal: to make a difference for Harry and to help other families affected by brain tumours.
Because of YOU... every person who came along, donated, bought cakes, had a haircut, treated themselves to glitter tattoos, supported Esme's stall or simply shared kind words... she raised an incredible...

Half of the money has gone directly to Harry, so he can treat himself, and the other half has been donated to Brain Tumour Research to help fund vital research.
As her mum, I genuinely don't think I've ever been prouder. Watching Esme pour her heart into this, seeing the compassion she has for someone else, and witnessing our community come together to support her has been something I'll treasure forever.
This wasn't just about raising money... it was about showing Harry and his family that they are not alone. ❤️

WOW... what a day! 💙
We have just got home, we're completely exhausted, our feet are aching, our hearts are so full... and we honestly don't know where to begin.
Because of the kindness, generosity and support from every single one of you, Esme has raised OVER £1,000... and we're STILL COUNTING! 🤯💙
We will let everyone know the final total as soon as we've counted everything properly, but we just wanted to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.
Whether you came for a haircut, bought cakes, treated yourself to a glitter tattoo, bought one of Esme's beautiful canvases, donated, shared our posts or simply came along to support us... you helped make today something we'll never forget.
And to my beautiful girl... Esme, I am SO, SO proud of you. Watching you turn such a kind idea into something that has brought a whole community together has been one of the proudest moments of my life. Your heart is truly one of a kind. 💙

Tomorrow is Esme's charity fundraiser and we are so excited to welcome everyone to Cadders! 🥹
What started as one little girl's idea to help Harry has turned into something really special, and we can't wait to see our amazing community come together.
🚨 PLEASE BRING CASH! 🚨
50% of everything raised will go directly to Harry, so he can treat himself to something special during his treatment, and the other 50% will be donated to Brain Tumour Research UK to help fund vital research.
There'll be plenty going on throughout the day:
🍰 Cakes, cookies, cupcakes & brownies
☕ Tea, coffee, juices... and perhaps a cheeky Prosecco! 🥂
🎨 Esme's stall with her hand-painted canvases, bracelets, hair accessories, pens & fidgets

✂️ Children's dry haircuts & braids (minimum £5 donation)
💇♀️ A little reminder: If your child is coming for a haircut, please could they arrive with clean, washed, dried and reasonably straight hair. This helps us get through as many children as possible and keeps everything running smoothly. Thank you! ❤️

We would like to introduce MILLIE 🩷
Millie will be workjng with us as a self-employed hair extension specialist and offering waxing and make-up 🙌🏻. Here's a little bit about Millie-
Hey! I’m Millie 🤍 I’m a hair and beauty specialist and I’m so excited to be joining the Cadders team!
I’ve been training in hair and beauty since I was 16, and I became self-employed in January. I’m almost 19, and I’m really passionate about building my career in the industry and continuing to grow my skills every day.
I work with a wide range of Hair extension methods to create natural, bespoke looks for each client, and I also offer beauty services including makeup and waxing.
I can’t wait to meet you all and get started at Cadders 💓

After hearing Harry's story, Esme decided she wanted to help.
What started with a few paintings at home has grown into a fundraising day to raise money for Harry and Brain Tumour Research UK. She has spent weeks creating canvases to sell and is so excited to share them with you.
Esme is only young, but her kindness and determination have already inspired so many people. I'm incredibly proud of her. 💙
