Our Story: Tranquility At Northgate

In the heart of Almondbury, two single mums, both raised in this charming community, found their paths intertwined in a beautiful way. With two children each, we understand the challenges and joys of motherhood, and it was this shared experience that brought us together. Having previously worked side by side in a luxurious five-star spa, we developed a strong bond and a shared vision for creating something special.

In February 2022, while exploring our options, we stumbled upon the old Halifax bank building on Northgate. The moment we laid eyes on it, we knew it could be the perfect place to bring our dream to life. With no financial backing or outside support, we took a leap of faith, fuelled by our passion for wellness and a desire to support women in our community.

On April 9, 2024, we officially opened the doors to Tranquility At Northgate, a massage clinic dedicated to becoming Huddersfield’s Premier Menopause Massage Therapists. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where women can find solace and healing during a transformative time in their lives.

Now, seven months into our journey, we are proud to still be here, thriving and ready to welcome you into our sanctuary. At Tranquility At Northgate, we offer more than just massages; we provide a community of support, understanding, and empowerment. Join us as we continue to grow and nurture not only our business but the bonds we cherish as mothers and friends. Together, we are creating a legacy of wellness for our children and our community.

Congratulations to Ella who has qualified as a Hair Stylist at Fabrik HQ, Two and a half years of hard work and we are all very proud of you and looking forward to seeing you develop your career further.

To celebrate Ella qualifying she is running an offer throughout May and June.

Welcome 2024

We hope everyone has had a great festive period as we return back to our normal but slightly updated working hours.

As always we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Clients and Guests who have once again shown an incredible amount of support over the last 12 months. We are forever grateful and it is never not appreciated or valued.

2023 came with its challenges as most have over the last few years, but as we go into our 15th Year of business we continue look forward and not back.

While we don't get everything right all the time, we hope no matter what challenges we faced, our commitment to high quality and standards continued to stay and will going forward.

New years bring fresh starts and new beginnings, and in 2024 we hope to add to our fabulous team, specifically makeup/Nails and a full time male hair specialist, should this interest you or anybody you know please get in touch.

As we excitedly start with the lighter nights spring is now around the corner.

At Fabrik we love spring, so much so we have a few exciting bits of news to share with you.

Firstly back by popular demand Monday 3rd of April Brett will be working every Monday 10 - 4 to help ease the congestion of mid week appointments while we continue our recruitment process and possibly beyond.

Next its with great excitement we can announce senior stylist Becky, from April will be working a late night every Tuesday, This will help open up some space for a stylist who's late night appointments are booked up in advance.

And finally due to some Rota changes our stylist Amy is offering a few very limited appointments throughout March & April, where you can grab A half price Colour with a full price haircut or a half price haircut *

* Offers limited to a tuesday only and on a first come first serve basis, Once the appointments are gone they are gone.

As spring fast approaches we wanted to update you with Our opening hours that are changing slightly from 1st April.

As requested we are now going to be open on a Monday again as well as introducing an extra late night on a Tuesday.

Fridays will close at 6pm except with Brett who will still work until 8pm.

This is a polite notice to inform you that there will be a small price increase of roughly 5% give or take on all services to take affect from the 1st of April.

Although this is something we have all tried to avoid, After carefully analysing the ever increasing materials and overhead costs it has become necessary to increase our prices. we hope you understand our need like most to implement this.

The increase helps us ensure our commitment to providing the very best products and services to you. We never want to cut corners and although our suppliers are making that increasingly difficult we are committed to that.

We understand these are difficult times so please If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

And That’s a wrap for Christmas 2022 🎅🏽

Just a quick thank you to all clients for the support this year.

It never goes unnoticed and is genuinely humbling, 13 years we’ve been working together and it’s fair to say the last few have been a challenge.

That being said this year we have celebrated the marriage of our very own Kate Hughes , and now we all wish Lucy the very best as she leaves us to go on maternity.

Some things are bigger than work and it’s been a year for celebration for us.

As a team we are all truly excited to go into 2023 with all your support as we continue on our journey and look to carry on growing as a team.
