We’re incredibly sad to say that the time has come for our very own Greek God to fly the coop. We’ve had some great times since Yianni first arrived 2-years ago all bright eyed and curly haired. He’s been a key player in the shop ever since, demonstrating an unrivalled knowledge of 2000-2013 Egyptian league 2 football, an unhealthy obsession for noughties grunge metal and deeply unsettling ability to recite the Four Lions film, word for word. All the skills you need in a world-class barber.

Yianni is moving across the pond, to the land of maple syrup, hockey and his favourite signer, Justin Bieber. He will be continuing in his barbering career and is hoping that some of his client’s might be willing to make the jump with him, however for those of you not able to make the trip, the whole team has been shadowing Ioannis over the past month and to make the transition less traumatic, we’re all going out to get a pair of baggy jeans, some Adidas gazelles, a perm and a copy of 'Now That's What I Call Death Metal'

Yianni's last day in the shop will be 12th April and he’s putting in the work to see all of his clients for a final cut before he departs, he’s also keen to give everyone an update on his current DuoLingo streaks in French, Bulgarian, Italian, Swahili and Mandarin.

Yianni is leaving his time here at The Link Studio having achieved both his level 2 and 3 in barbering and managing to build up a clientele of amazing people as well as picking up some new jokes from Jimmy and a couple of streaks of gray along the way.

It’s been a pleasure for all of us to work alongside him for the last two years and we truly wish him the best on his journey. He is a leaving behind a pair of very big (metaphorically, he's only a size 9) shoes to fill.
