Today the Saffron ladies finally got to catch up on all the gossip that we never normally get time to share , 4 months can pass before we actually all get to sit together and chat which seems madness considering we all work together and have done for years now. Mostly though it’s the best opportunity to see beautiful Gracie 🧡

☀️ A Little Update About Keratin Blowdries This Summer ☀️

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had quite a few clients booking keratin blowdries during the current heatwave. Unfortunately, due to the extreme temperatures and high humidity, we’ve found that many treatments haven’t achieved the long lasting, smooth results we’d normally expect.

Keratin treatments work best when the hair can stay smooth and dry after the service. During periods of excessive heat, sweating and humidity can interfere with the treatment, making it much harder to achieve and maintain the beautiful, frizz-free finish that both we and our clients expect.

Rather than have anyone spend money on a treatment that may not give the results it should, we’ve made the decision to pause offering keratin blowdries throughout the summer months.

We’d much rather be honest and wait until the weather is more suitable, so we can give you the quality results you deserve. 💛

Back where I belong… and I couldn’t be happier!

Today is my first day back in the salon after a lovely holiday, and I’ve realised something really special.

For the first time in a very long time, I no longer feel like I need a holiday to escape my everyday life.

Instead, my holiday reminded me just how much I love the life I’ve built.

I’m genuinely excited to be back behind the chair at Saffron hair, catching up with all my wonderful clients, chatting with my amazing team and doing the job I’ve loved for over 35 years.

Then I get to come home to my beautiful family and friends, head to the gym, take Maggie the Merc out with the roof down whenever the sun’s shining, and continue my new-found love of golf (which I’m becoming slightly obsessed with! ⛳️).

Life certainly isn’t perfect, and there are still massive challenges ahead, but I’ve realised that true happiness isn’t about escaping your life every few months, it’s about creating a life you’re genuinely excited to wake up to every day.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me build that life. I feel incredibly lucky, and I’m so excited to see you all back in the salon. ❤️

It’s that weekend that Theresa’s been buzzing about since February….Harry styles at Wembley with her youngest munchkin. We are closing the salon for those 2 days as Beccy is still on holiday and Kiera’s taking a couple of days off too.

What a wonderful way to spend our 11th Saffron hair birthday! Over the years we’ve had big announcements and cakes and bags of gifts but this year we kept it low key. It was lovely to spend it with the 2 special people who kept me sane at work whilst life has been upside down AND my beautiful god daughter Gracie 🧡🧡
