And sometimes you don’t realise quite how much you needed that until you’re getting up at the end.

I think sometimes we need someone to just say it.
SLOW THE F**K DOWN.
Because I am absolutely guilty of it too.
I’m constantly rushing.
Rushing to get somewhere.
Rushing to finish something.
Rushing through my morning.
Rushing through things that really don’t need to be rushed.
And every now and then I catch myself and think…
Sarah. What are you actually doing? 😂
So I stop.
Deep inhale.
Hold.
Slow exhale.
And just for a moment, I allow myself to come out of overdrive.
Because the truth is, the jobs will still be there.
That email can wait.
The washing can wait.
The house can wait.
And perhaps we don’t realise how much we’re asking of ourselves when we’re constantly moving at 100mph.
So catch yourself today.
When you’re frantically washing your face…
slow down.
When you’re walking like you’re late for a flight…
slow down.
When you’re doing five things at once…
slow down.
And when you catch yourself doing what I did…
Well… maybe take the fu***ng hint. 😂

When Touch Becomes Care
There is something incredibly powerful about being touched with intention.
