Choosing myself first, without guilt, isn’t selfish—it’s essential. 💜

When I take care of myself, I can take even better care of you.

No one should ever feel guilty for making time for themselves, so this Sunday, make a little time just for you. It doesn’t have to be hours. Even five extra minutes sitting quietly in the loo, taking some deep breaths, going for a short walk around the garden or along your street can make a difference. Focus on your breathing and let everything else fade into the background. If your mind wanders, gently bring your attention back to your breath.

Although I offer appointments from 10am to 8pm, 7 days a week, I always make sure I create time for myself too. Choosing me first means you get the very best version of me when you visit.

Today is my day off, and I’m starting it with a walk in the woods. I’m so grateful for where I live, for the work I get to do, for the wonderful people I meet, and for every one of my clients.

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason—whether it feels good or challenging at the time. It’s about making the most of each day and finding something to be grateful for. That mindset makes every day better.

So today, I hope you’ll choose you.

Had a lovely week with my mum and 8 year old niece visiting - so much to do outdoors, so lucky to have Avoch and rosemarkie so close to us - but also to have an amazing place like The Haven Cafe and Elsie Normington Foundation where my niece had a safe enclosed place to be herself and have some friends to share this adorable soft play area. We will be booking again for her next visit. Her super power is Autism, so this was just the perfect place, staff were super friendly, would highly recommend 🙂

Also we had the pleasure of meeting Karen from Highland Music Therapy and Amber loving her very own goodbye song 💜

I start July with a full heart 💜 I’m so thankful to my existing clients, new clients to come, existing followers and new followers to come - I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without you all - I appreciate you all very much and look forward to sharing July with you 💜
