✨ A VERY exciting delivery at Evoque Rituals… ✨

I honestly feel incredibly lucky to have been gifted this gorgeous collection from ESK Evidence Skincare to trial. 🤍

Those of you who know me know I’m a bit obsessed with skincare 😂 but I’m also really fussy about what I’ll actually use and recommend to my clients.

I don’t want products on my shelves just because they look beautiful.

I want to understand what’s in them, why it’s there and what it can actually do for the skin.

And that’s exactly what caught my attention with ESK, their whole philosophy is centred around evidence-based skincare and ingredients chosen for a reason. 🧬✨

They’ve very kindly sent me a selection of products to properly experience and get to know, including formulas targeting things like ageing, pigmentation, hydration, skin barrier support and overall skin health.

So over the next little while I’ll be testing, learning and deciding where or if ESK earns a place within Evoque Rituals.

And I think that part is important.

I’ll never bring something into the clinic simply because I’ve been sent it. It still has to impress me first. 😉

But opening this box today… I’m VERY excited to get started. 🤍

I could tell you all day about the treatments I offer, the products I use and the results I want to achieve… but sometimes it means so much more hearing it from the people who actually come through my door.

Reading these lovely words honestly means more to me than you probably realise.

Evoque Rituals has never been about simply booking a treatment and sending you on your way.

✨ SKINCARE IS CHANGING… AND I LOVE THE DIRECTION IT’S GOING IN

I’ve been doing lots of reading, researching and training around skin lately and there’s definitely a shift happening in the beauty industry.

It’s becoming less about doing more to the skin and more about skin health, longevity and choosing treatments based on what your skin actually needs.

Because your skin doesn’t need the same facial every month.

Hormones, stress, weather, lifestyle and ageing can all affect it. One month it might need hydration, another month it might need something completely different.

That’s the direction I’m taking Evoque in too.

Rather than asking, “Which facial should I book?” I want it to be more about:

“What does my skin need?”

Microneedling, peels, LED, radiofrequency, ultrasound, electroporation, high frequency and professional skincare are all tools I can choose from depending on what I’m seeing in your skin.

Acne isn’t one-size-fits-all and neither should the treatment be. 🤍

I’ve recently completed further advanced acne training, deepening my understanding of what’s actually happening within acne-prone skin and how different types of acne should be approached.

Because a blackhead, a closed comedone, an inflamed pustule and a deep painful nodule are not the same thing and treating them as though they are can do more harm than good.

When I assess acne, I’m looking beyond the breakout itself: congestion, inflammation, oil production, sensitivity, skin-barrier health, post-acne changes and possible contributing factors.

Sometimes we decongest.
Sometimes we calm inflammation.
Sometimes we repair the barrier first.
And sometimes the correct advice is medical referral rather than a facial.

My acne treatments at Evoque Rituals will be tailored to what your skin actually needs, with professional treatments, targeted ingredients, appropriate technology and realistic homecare advice chosen for a reason.
