Acrylic is so bad for your nails “ - FALSE ⛔️❌❗️

- yes if acrylic is done wrong it can cause damage to your natural nail bed … unfortunately the hard truth is so can ANY NAIL SERVICE . WHY? Because it’s all in the prep and the nail technician. If any nail service is done wrong it will effect your nail condition!
If these services are done with care, including the right prep , good products that don’t include harmful chemicals, applied/ removed correctly and you are provided the right after care in the hands of a professional, these services can all be maintained with upkeep of your nail health.

During my career I have done lots of research to make sure I know how to take the correct precautions for nail health this includes 2 years of theory work ( while always evolving my knowledge) my main concern within my work is taking care of my Clinets , making sure they are safe and comfortable with me and my work.

• Understanding the anatomy and chemistry of the body - bones - artery’s ect ( YES THIS ALL IF KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE TO KNOW ).

• Being able to acknowledge the signs of infections, skin conditions and contra indications understanding the effects ,signs of symptoms and why these may occur , allergies and if you should prevent or restrict, and confidently knowing what action to take.

• Researching products , having knowledge of the products your using , what kind of brand they are and the chemicals / ingredients that are in them. Do they benifit or are they harmful? And why. Also knowing how to use your products, how to store them , how to apply/ remove , what to use and when- This includes tools as well!

• Health and safety , sanitisation and sterilisation. Knowing how to protect you and your Clinets , sterilising tools , keeping products safe, keeping your work environment clean hazard free, PPE (personal protective equipment) and lots more

There is SO much MORE to it than you realise !!!! And still so much more that I haven’t included ^^^ Make sure you prioritise your nail health and that your nail tech does to , go to someone who you can trust and is confident in their knowledge.
