Using Chelsea Silk Lashes & Flexie Glue! The BEST!

So, Summer is finally here in the UK! 🥳☀️ And whilst that means ice creams, bikinis and sun tans (or sunburn 🙋🏻‍♀️) we need to be weary of what this means for us gals with lash extensions and what we can do to avoid loosing too many lashes in a hurry.

Too much heat isn’t good for lash extensions. This will weaken the bond (glue) that is keeping them in place and they will fall off as a result. Try and avoid direct sunlight and if possible wear shades! 😎

As always, avoid touching and pulling at your lashes too whilst out in the sun. You may have sun tan lotion on which is filled with oils that will again transfer onto the lashes and break down the bond causing the lashes to shed prematurely.

During the lash application it might be necessary to use various different taping methods to hold back/ expose lashes making it easier to isolate those sneaky hidden lashes.

In this photo I have used micropore tape which I have gently de-tacked on the back of my hand prior to taping back these lashes. This helped expose some of those pesky inners. Then you can lash away without any obstruction! Then once you’re finished, gentry peel away the tape and voila, full coverage 🤩🥳

Infills, infills, infills! 😇

They’re essential for keeping your lashes looking fresh and fluffy. Recommended every 2-3 weeks. During this process I will take out the old outgrown lashes using a technique called the ‘banana peel’ where I gentle remove them keeping the natural lash undamaged and then replace all the bare natural lashes with brand new lash extensions and then ‘voila’ you’re killing it again! 🔥

It’s highly recommended to book at least one infill (if not two) appointments in advance as I’m getting very booked up now heading into the summer period! 💕
