Booked in for your first wax & not sure what to expect? Here’s everything you need to know ☺️

✨ For an intimate wax we’ll ask you to remove your underwear & we’ll leave the room for you to get ready. There’ll be wipes for you to freshen up & a towel to cover yourself.
✨ For all other bikini waxes, you can keep your underwear on.
✨ To get the best results from your wax, the hair needs to be long enough that you can grab it with your nails (about 6mm if you’re measuring! 🙈) If you’ve been shaving we recommend leaving the hair to grow for 2 weeks prior to your first wax
✨There’s no need to be worried! Our therapists are experts & will make sure you feel comfortable. We’re efficient & have a skill of keeping you talking to keep you distracted!
✨ A little redness after your wax is completely normal. It’s called erythema & is when blood cells come to the surface of the skin. Give it 24hrs and your skin will look normal - just less hairy!
✨ After your wax, it’s best not to exercise or get hot & sweaty for 24hrs. A warm shower, with no perfumed products will keep your skin healthy & calm.
✨ Before your wax, don’t apply any lotion to the skin & exfoliate 24hrs before.
✨ On your period when it’s time for an intimate wax? Don’t worry, you can still have your wax - we just ask that you put a fresh tampon in just before your appointment.
✨ Worried what you look like down there?! DON’T BE!! We’re all different & honestly we’re not looking! We’re just concentrating on making sure we get all the hairs!

As the nights are drawing in & the leaves are turning 🍁 I realised in the craziness of Summer, I forgot to dedicate a square to remember our 15th birthday 🥳

Over the past 15 years, I’ve always taken a moment around our birthday to pause & reflect on the journey the salon has been on 🤍
It’s hard to believe where those 15 years have gone - when I opened those doors in 2011, I was only 25 years old! 🐣 I had no experience in business or management, but what I did have was a HUGE passion for the beauty industry & creating the best client experience ✨

From just two of us, to a team of 9 therapists and now to our amazing team of 6, we’re still so so lucky to be treating clients from day one 🥰

It’s not been easy, far from it, but it’s been a privilege & something I’m very very proud of 💞

So this little square, this picture of Our Purity Family, is a reminder to me of all that we’ve achieved & the joy that we receive by creating a space where you, our lovely clients can pause, knowing you’re in safe hands.
