🐴HORSEY MUMS, I feel your PAIN. 🐴
I don’t know about you HORSEY MUMS, but I’m always so pleased to see the back of February…

Yes it has Valentine’s Day, and pancake day, and the days get longer, the most in one month and are the most noticeable, but boy has it been a super tough one this year. When I look back at my years of being in horses (50 years now) February had always caused me the most emotional upset, stress, and saying “I must cut back and have less horses by next February” - the most I’ve ever had at one time was back in the 90’s and I had a head of 26!!! Breeding mares, Stallion, young stock of all ages, and riding horses and ponies too. I loved it but it was also super crazy so if you’re having a tough time right now this last February and winter, just know, I totally get how you feel about enough is enough. We’re all in this on our own but very much together too as we totally understand the hardship we face during the winter months.
For me it’s been the endless rain, leaking roofs, and temperary repairs, and moving forwards, fixing the stable roof 100% is our next job this year. Obviously water logged fields and gateways, and putting waders on to put the ponies out daily not because the water is that deep but because leading them in and out they splash you up to your waist walking through the water to get out onto the dry part across the field. And on top of that, the worry this year of running out of hay, paying huge prices, and the quality of it too….
So looking out of my front window this morning and my back door, I’m so excited that we’re now in March, yes also a difficult month broth the winds and rains, but this week, HORSEY MUMS, we look like we have a lovely week of spring like weather ahead and it makes you feel SOOOOO GOOD…

Loving the snowdrops out and the other bulbs coming through to bring us the spring colour…. And the blossom just appearing on some of the trees.

Makes you feel so good that we’ve got through the worst Horsey Mums, it’s been a tough one, long and wet and running out of hay…..
and my amazing super food capsules help massively too. I FEEL FLIPPEN AMAZING and loving getting older but feeling younger.....

Love waking up like I do all the time, no alarm, naturally waking, having a great nights sleep - so lovely to get quality sleep like this night after night. Bed and straight to sleep, uninterrupted quality sleep, waking feeling rested and right ready for the day ahead.

To be honest it’s something you begin to take for granted and it becomes the norm, a far cry from how I used to be. Rest is where the body heals and repairs.... make sure you get great sleep and feel amazing on waking.
