I’m often asked ‘Why are your perfumes so inexpensive? How are you able to do it?”

• Are they fake?

• Are they an illegal copy of the designer brand?

• Is the quality inferior?

The answer to all these questions is NO!

… Here is the REAL story about the perfume industry:

What is the origin of the perfumes from the designer brands such as Chanel, Dior, Gucci and the celebrities such as Beyonce, Paris Hilton, David Beckham etc ?

Look at their professions.... the designer houses are tailors and the celebrities are singers, sports stars, models, actresses etc.
NOT perfume specialists. 🤷‍♀️

However, the public still pay silly amounts of money 🙈

The ORIGIN of the actual perfumes is one of a very small number of global perfume houses.

How does this work?
The fragrance houses develops lots of different fragrances each day and then the commercial brands shop for the ones they like....

Let’s take an example:

Gucci is planning to present a new fragrance on the market. They go to the perfume houses and take a look at the new fragrances that have just been developed. They sample a few and decide that the perfume in vat number 1506 will be their new fragrance. They order 100,000 litres of the fragrance mixture (a blend of fragrance oils) from the perfume house. The blend is then delivered to Gucci where they add water and alcohol. They decide to call their new fragrance 'Gucci Guilty’

During this , Lots of money is spent on the design of the new bottle and the packaging, as well as advertising and glossy magazines, and of course engaging the latest beautiful model or actress on TV to endorse it. Actually sourcing the perfume from the developer is the LEAST expensive part!! All this money spent on the above, is why they create a expensive bottle of perfume

So basically Gucci owns the name ' Guilty’ they own their new bottle design and packaging, and of course the brand name Gucci and the distinctive logo.

But they don't own the fragrance blend. That belongs to the perfume developer. So with this we can also go along to the perfume house and but the fragrance blend from vat number 1506!

The question is, is this legal?

The answer is YES!

The perfume house own the fragrance, as they created and produced it, and they can sell it to whoever they like!!

Gucci own the name Gucci, the name ' Guilty’ the distinctive logo, the specially designed bottle and packaging. What they do not own is the actual perfume blend.

Our fragrances have their own bottle and packaging and give our new fragrance a number, W137
Both Gucci Guilty and W137 are from the same vat at the fragrance house.

What are the differences?

1. We do not use the name Chanel, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Paris Hilton, David beckham etc, if we did we would be to breach copyright.

2. All our fragrances are given a number.

3. Chanel, Gucci etc, etc, sell their perfume as EDP or EDT. We actually add LESS water and a more pure alcohol mixture. Therefore our perfumes are Parfum (20% and 30%), which is stronger and therefore lasts longer.

4. We do not spend a lot of money on designing exclusive bottles and packaging. All our fragrances come in the same elegant sleek bottles.

5. We do not spend a lot of money on expensive marketing campaigns where celebrities show up to present perfume. We do business through individual distributors who have their own business operating from home.

Now do you see how perfumes from my company can be so inexpensive compared to other brand names?

Do you know when you buy a designer perfume, you're paying for the brand name 😳

The fragrance inside isn't trademarked anyone can buy it and put their own stamp on it, that's exactly what Essens do 👌

Most big brands will water this down to either a EAU Fraiche upto 3% oils an EAU de cologne upto 6% oils or EDT upto 15% oils then put into there fancy bottles and charge you way over the odds 😭

They also add chemicals to help speed up the curing process and preserve shelf life making them harsh to the skin 🤔

Essens fragrances contain a minimum 20% oils making our fragrances stronger and last much longer Essens fragrances are also left to cure on their own for 8 weeks so no chemicals are needed😍

Would you pay less for the same fragrance if it came in a different bottle 👍

When you see the word eau de toilette or eau de perfume it sounds nice and we don't question it. Eau means water in French !
