I often have a little friend for my morning meditation, I think she likes the stillness and the quiet... just me, her and the birds outside.
Such a beautiful way to start the morning, just ten minutes or so to settle, reconnect and set my intention for the day, it totally changes how I go into the day.

You find me in a reflective mood once more... reflecting on Held and Whole and my reiki and what it means for me.
Stepping into this reset or 'rebrand' has really allowed me the space to slow down and find myself again, step away from all the noise and remind myself what it means to be me.
I love the way that my reiki work really embodies that, how tapping into this energy feels like a gentle hug, a warm cocoon of love surrounding me, holding me and allowing me to slowly heal from the inside out.
I know no one has time, I know everyone is busy and there's always a million things to do, but I can't emphasise enough what a difference this slow, gentle practice has made to my health and wellbeing.
Sending out some love and reiki beautifulness to anyone that needs it right now. 💕

Do less, not more...
Something I've noticed more and more is how healing has become a full time job. It's almost like you need healing to recover from the healing.
I've never been so bombarded with ads and posts for supplements, retreats, treatments, breathwork... how do people fit it all in?
My own healing journey has been long and slow, spread over months and years. I've definitely been sucked in to the do this, try that culture, but over time I've managed to step back and find what works for me.
Quiet mornings of meditation and journalling.
A gentle, considered yoga practice.
Slow evenings reading.
Easing into sleep with a dedicated Reiki practice.
And a beautiful sound bath when time and funds allow.
I just feel like if we're really to heal and thrive in this world, we need to be doing less, not more.
I'd love to know what others do (or don't do!) to look after themselves and just stop in these crazy times.
Slowly creating my own perfect paradise 💕.
A place to stop.
A place to rest & heal.
A place to just be.

Taking time in the quiet of the morning to just pause, reflect and reconnect.
Is there anything more perfect than sitting in salted sunlight surrounded by nature?
Food for the soul 💕
So many people I work with are feeling this right now. They come to me after months of pushing through, doing all the right things but still feeling like they have nothing left to give.
A reiki session is an hour where you don't have to do anything. No performing, no fixing, no being "on." Just rest, while your nervous system gets a chance to reset.
If that sounds like exactly what you need right now, I have a couple of spots open this week and next.
In-person and distance sessions available.

If you've never tried reiki and you're not sure if it's "for you", I get it, it's something a bit different, a step away from the norm... but then often that's the point, the'normal' approaches aren't working.
When you come for a Reiki session, you can expect an intuitive, client led approach, allowing each session to meet to exactly where you are.
You lie down fully clothed, close your eyes, and rest. I work gently, either with light touch or just above the body. Most people feel warmth, deep relaxation, or simply fall asleep.
There's nothing you need to believe in for it to work. You just need to show up.
First-timers are always welcome. DM me if you have questions — I'm happy to chat before you book. 💕

When I chose 'Living the Good Life' I was just starting out in my business and this was what I aspired to and what I wanted for my clients. I wanted everything to be perfect, to reflect back those insta worthy, soft filter lifestyles - gingham checks, naturally hewn wooden tables, twinkling fairylights and posies of flowers gathered from the garden in jam jars...I still do to some extent...I just realised that the aesthetics were different. It's not about the perfectly curated life, it's about softening into the life you have. Finding the calm amongst the chaos. The more I work with this energy, the more I realise this to be the case, people aren't coming to me for renewal, they're coming to restore who and what they once were. That is a truly beautiful thing, a return to self, in all her glory!
And so, 'Held & Whole' was born:
The circle representing the self — intact, worthy, and complete.
The surrounding crescent reflecting being held, by rest, by presence, by something larger than effort or fixing.
Together, they speak to a remembering rather than a becoming.
A return to what is already here in us all.
So 'Held & Whole' is less of a rebranding, more of a reconnection, a return.
I'm so proud of what she has become.
Taking a moment to breathe...
