Expert Skin Therapist offering bespoke in clinic treatments and homecare products using Dermaviduals. The skin doesn't lie!

I LOVE SKIN... I have worked in the beauty therapy world for over 25 years and am passionate about all things skin related. I love understanding how the skin works, how particular ingredients can affect the skin, how our diet and most importantly our gut health play a major part on the condition of our skin. Our sleep patterns, stress levels, hormones and lifestyle all contribute to the health of

Just one month between these photos… and what a difference.

Skin isn't an overnight fix, but sometimes when you stop overwhelming it and start supporting it properly, it begins to turn around surprisingly quickly.

We introduced just three Prologic products:
🤍 Cream Cleanser
🤍 Luna Calm
🤍 Omega 3 Oil

Alongside this, we started skin soaking and stripped away the "ultra-processed" skincare, replacing it with what I like to call clean eating for the skin.

Just as our bodies thrive on real, nourishing food, our skin often responds best when we feed it ingredients that support its natural function instead of overloading it with unnecessary extras.

The result after only four weeks? A calmer complexion, reduced redness, and a much happier skin barrier. And this is just the beginning.

If your skin feels constantly reactive, red or irritated, it might not need more products – it might just need the right ones. Drop me a message in the comments or send me a DM if you'd like to chat about where to start.

Because your skin deserves real nourishment, not ultra-processed skincare.

ACNE AWARENESS MONTH 💙

This month, I'll be focusing on breaking down common acne myths and helping you feel more knowledgeable and confident about your skin.

One of the biggest misconceptions about acne is that it's simply a teenage problem.

The reality is that acne can affect people of all ages. I regularly see clients in their 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond who are struggling with persistent breakouts, inflammation and the emotional impact that acne can have.

Acne is a complex skin condition that develops beneath the surface of the skin long before a spot becomes visible. What you see on the surface is often just one small part of a much bigger picture.

Hormones, genetics, stress, lifestyle, nutrition, skin barrier function and inappropriate skincare can all play a role.

This is why there is rarely a one-size-fits-all solution.

As a Corneotherapist, my focus is on understanding what may be contributing to your acne and supporting the skin to function as healthily as possible. Rather than stripping, over-exfoliating or aggressively treating the skin, we work to restore barrier function, reduce inflammation and create a personalised plan based on your skin's individual needs.

Throughout Acne Awareness Month, I'll also be collaborating with Nutritional Therapist Rose Paul to explore some of the internal factors that can influence skin health. Together we'll be looking at acne from both the outside and the inside, helping you gain a better understanding of the many factors that may be affecting your skin.

Understanding what is happening beneath the surface is the first step towards achieving healthier skin.

ACNE AWARENESS MONTH

When it comes to acne, there is rarely a single cause and there is rarely a single solution.

That's why Rose and I wanted to come together this Acne Awareness Month to share some simple dietary changes that may help support acne-prone skin.

As a Nutritional Therapist, Rose looks at what may be influencing the skin from the inside. Through a detailed assessment of diet, lifestyle and health history, she helps clients identify factors that may be contributing to inflammation, hormonal imbalance and skin concerns.

As a Corneotherapist and Skin Specialist, I work from the outside in.

Corneotherapy is often described as "clean healthy eating for your skin". Rather than using harsh treatments and products that can compromise the skin barrier, the focus is on restoring skin function, reducing inflammation and supporting the skin to work as nature intended.

The reality is that acne is complex.

For some people, diet may be a significant piece of the puzzle. For others, hormones, stress, barrier damage, inappropriate skincare or lifestyle factors may play a bigger role.

The best outcomes often come from taking a step back and looking at the whole picture.

If you're struggling with acne and feel like you've tried everything, working with a professional can help you understand what may be driving your breakouts and create a plan that is tailored specifically to you. Start your own journey by booking in for a consultation with us.

Which of these five dietary changes would be easiest for you to try?

We’re so excited to finally share this…

I’ve teamed up with the lovely Rose Paul, Nutritionist, to dive deeper into something I’m truly passionate about – the powerful link between what’s going on inside your body and how your skin behaves on the outside.

We’re featured in the May edition of Suffolk Magazine, where we talk all about skin health and nutrition, and why no skincare routine is ever truly complete without looking at your diet and lifestyle too.

This is just the beginning…
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing a whole series of posts breaking it all down – from gut health and breakouts, to inflammation, ageing, and the foods that can genuinely support your skin, especially our favourite Omegas.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing “all the right things” with your skincare but still not seeing results… this is for you.

Keep an eye out – there’s so much to come.

P.S. Rose is organising for me to have my microbiome tested so we can really see what’s going on inside. This means any support she gives can be completely bespoke, something I know would be incredible for so many of my clients, especially those struggling with rosacea and acne.

That persistent rash looking area around your mouth, nose, or eyes that will not seem to go away. It might not be acne.

Perioral dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes clusters of red papules and pustules in the periorificial zones. It is often accompanied by burning, tightness, and irritation. And it is frequently misdiagnosed.

If this sounds familiar, keep following along this month. We are going deep on Perioral Dermatitis.

We’re not just about the face…

Your skin covers your whole body, and it all deserves the same thoughtful care.

At Skin by Leanne Moss, I use the Corneotherapy approach, working with Dermaviduals — bespoke, barrier-supportive products designed to restore and protect the skin rather than strip it.

This makes them incredibly effective for body skin concerns such as eczema, psoriasis, dryness and sensitivity, from the scalp right down to the toes.

I also use Dermalux LED therapy to help calm inflammation, support healing and strengthen the skin — making it a powerful support for compromised body skin.

If your skin is misbehaving anywhere beyond your face, I now offer body skin consultations, designed to get to the root of what’s going on and create a plan your skin actually responds to.

Because healthy skin is about function, balance and support… from head to toe.
