The government have said salons will be able to re-open as of the 12th of April.

I will be in contact with all my clients of the coming weeks to get everyone booked in.

I will continue operating a ‘one client at one time’ policy unless you’re from the same household. Because of this, please be patient as I am unable to service as many clients per day, however I’ll be working 7 days a week to try and get everyone booked in as soon as I’m able.

In order to comply with the government track & trace requirements, don’t forget to download the NHS Covid-19 app before your visit. Then simply scan the QR code as you enter the salon. Muchas gracias.

As of this Saturday all clients will have to wear a face mask. If you’re having a colour service, it’s probably a good idea not to wear the one that was lovingly hand stitched by your 7 year old daughter.

We are extremely excited to announce that we will be open again from 4th July.
We will be working on a strict pre-booked appointment only basis and no walk-in appointments will be available.
You can expect all staff to be kitted up with all PPE requirements & we will be taking an extra 15minutes between appointments to sterilise equipment and surfaces.
We will also be using disposable gowns, towels and capes for the foreseeable future.
Could we please ask for all clients to arrive on their own (unless this isn’t possible, in which case please make us aware before your appointment) to reduce the number of people in the salon, with minimal belongings also.
If you’re going to be in the salon for a lengthy time, please bring along your own refreshments/reading material as we will be unable to provide these for the foreseeable future.

We want to ensure that your experience in the salon with us is as enjoyable as possible despite the changes we have had to make.
You can help do this by sticking to appointment times as much as possible to ensure everything runs smoothly.

As the government have today confirmed hair salons can reopen on the 4th July, over the next week I will be contacting ALL of my clients to arrange their future appointments. I would like to thank you all for your patience.

Hi all, the current situation is that the government have said hairdressing salons can open no sooner than Saturday 4th July. Hopefully this will be the case , however there is still a chance that this date could be pushed back later.

For this reason I have not yet started rebooking everyone. Once a definite start date is confirmed, I’ll be in touch with all of my clients to get you booked in. I will be starting with those that had appointments booked at the beginning of lockdown and working my forward in chronological order, as I feel this is the fairest way to everyone.

When I do start making appointments , I will be operating a ‘1 client at any 1 time‘ policy to make the environment as safe as possible and I will have sufficient time between each client to enable the disinfection of surfaces and the sterilisation of equipment.

Because of this I will not be able to offer as many appointments each day , but rest assured I will be working longer hours 7 days a week to get to everyone as quickly as possible.

I have full PPE and disposable gowns and towels ready and prepared for when I’m able to start. Myself and my colleagues at Modify Hair Lounge are taking every step possible to ensure your safety during your visit and we are very much looking forward to seeing you all.

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the temporary closure of the salon due to the on-going crisis of COVID-19, this will take immediate effect.

We have held on as long as possible to continue service as normal while taking extra precuation to keep the salon as clean as possible. Unfortunately, as the virus is spreading quicker and we are being strictly advised by the Government to keep a 2 metre distance from one another, we feel that we can't carry on with our services without putting our clients & staff at risk.

We will first of all be in contact with our clients that have appointments within the next 2 weeks and then we will be in contact with the rest of you that have appointments booked in.
Due to clients wishes, we'll be creating a list of clients that would like an appiintment ASAP when we re-open.

We look forward to welcoming you all back into the salon when we're able resume as normal. We'll come back as strong as ever to celebrate our 1st Anniversary at 𝕄𝕆𝔻𝕀𝔽𝕐 𝓱𝓪𝓲𝓻 𝓵𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓰𝓮.
