Meraki Therapies by Shannen

This is a post that if I'm honest makes me feel a wee bit sad to write but I just wanted to be honest in my feelings recently.

Lately, I've noticed my diary isn't filling as quickly as it used to, and it's been playing on my mind for the last few months. Alot of you regulars are still booking (and I'm so thankful for every single one of you ❤️), but (and i completely understand) many of you are stretching appointments out a bit more. I know times are different for everyone and I'm really just looking for ways to understand and keep up with the changes of the world.

I keep asking myself what the reason is. Is it the school holidays, The cost of living, the nice weather, has social media changed so much that people just aren't seeing my posts anymore? I don't really have the answer, but I do know it's something that's been worrying me for a few months, even the Lucky Number competition, which usually fills really quickly, is taking much longer this time.

Being self-employed can be such a rollercoaster of emotions and is definitely not easy. When your diary is full, you're buzzing but when it isn't, you can't help but wonder what the future holds, how long is it going to be like this and why? You question yourself, your business and whether you're doing enough. It's a constant up and down 🤍

Due to the way things are, I am thinking about changing my working week for a little while. I may reduce my hours by taking an extra day off, or alternate my days each week until things settle again, not because I want to work less though, it's simply trying to make things work while business is a bit quieter and means I can maybe progress a little too, and look into what else I can study or bring to Meraki.
Are there days that I don't work which would be more beneficial to change to for any of you?

I hope this is all making sense 🙃 my brain has been a little bit mooshy trying to work out whats causing things to be a little slower, and today after a good talk during a treatment for myself I thought maybe the best way is just to be a little vulnerable and be honest.
