⛔️ SALON CLOSING ⛔️

Sad news! 💔 After investing so much time and money into the salon, the effects of the last few years have taken their toll on the salon industry in general. Since covid it has been a constant uphill struggle. The new norm for self employed hair and beauty workers is to work from home which has a knock-on effect to salon owners who rely on people NOT working from home. The rise in cost of living also means that a lot of people in the industry also juggle another job to maintain a stable income, meaning they only rent part time instead of full time, and this cost of living increase has also meant a significant rise in all bills. Although beauty treatments are still desired, they are considered a “luxury” which means work is too unstable when clients are struggling with their rise in bills also. The continuous stress is just not worth it and the salon world where it was previously thriving is now sinking, like many other small businesses on the high street. Therefore, the difficult decision has been made to permanently close Wave House and the last opening day with be Saturday 29th October. The biggest of thanks to all clients, team members and followers who supported Wave House throughout its short-lived venture and helped bring a dream to life! 💜

Reminder: “When things don’t work out the way you planned, life has better things planned for you!” ✨

As some of you may have already seen, our hair stylist Caitlin is moving salons and this is her last week at Wave House. Grateful to have had her be a part of our team during some difficult times and we wish her all the best for the future! 💟
