When a new client tells me they never got a result from a previous lash lift …I make it my mission to put that right😜
A failed lash lift doesn’t always mean your lashes “can’t lift”
It just means something somewhere has gone wrong along the way which is why it’s important to not only know WHAT you’re doing but WHY you are doing it
A few reasons which can show up as a failed lash lift are 👇
✨ Incorrect shield/rod selection for the natural lash
✨ Lash placement or direction during the treatment
✨ Processing times that aren’t suited to the individual lash
✨ Product application or saturation
✨ not enough tension or too much tension in the wrap
✨ poor lash prep
✨ the dreaded flipped lid
The key is that lash lifts aren’t one-size-fits-all. Your natural lash needs to be assessed properly and each individual treatment approached in a way that’s suited to what you are working with
This client had previously had a lash lift elsewhere with very little visible result. I discussed the previous issues and concerns and combined with that an assessment of the lashes. On first look it was clear they were short , straight , downward growing and very strong - all of which need considered when considering shields , placement and processing times
Good results aren’t just about putting product on the lashes and hoping for the best , it’s about understanding the how and why so that every result is a result 😜

Still not over this gorgeous result from this week 😍
I’ve been lifting these lashes for over a year and this is my favourite result yet 😉
The reason is shield choice - I was previously choosing a rounded shield and she got a lovely natural curled look . This time we decided to switch it up and try a different shield and I’m so glad we did !
At some point I’ll post a pic of both results side by side so you can see the difference but it just goes to show that even when you think you are choosing things right , there’s still room for playing around to make things better

13.5 hour Thursday about to commence 🤪
Just a few little reminders that help things run smoothly when my shifts are so crazy
Please remember cash for apps and not transfers as I can’t keep up with them and it’s too much admin on top of an already crazy day 🤗
Try not to arrive more than a couple of mins early as I have the parking situ down to a T
and more cars causes chaos 🤪plus I rely on those few mins here and there to feed my face and answer the inbox
Park in the drive only please ❤️
Everyone receives a pre app info message before their app ( the one with my address )
This has everything you need to know about parking /payments etc on there so give it a read before you arrive as it helps keep everything running smoothly

My first weekend with no plans in a while and I am absolutely here for it 🙌🏽 the only thing on this weekends agenda is a good old re-charge after a very hectic summer 🤪
