❤️ 90 YEARS OF KNOCKNAGOR — A SCHOOL WORTH STANDING UP FOR ❤️

For 90 years, Knocknagor Primary School has been so much more than a building with classrooms. It has been a place where children have learned, friendships have been made, dreams have begun and generations of families have come together.

For 90 years, this school has been part of the fabric of our community.

It has celebrated the achievements of its children, including All-Ireland success, and has given young people the opportunity to discover their talents and be proud of where they come from. 🏆🇮🇪

But its greatest achievement cannot be measured in trophies or certificates.

It is measured in the generations of children whose lives have been shaped by Knocknagor. It is measured in the teachers who have dedicated themselves to their pupils, the parents who have supported the school, and the wider community that has always stood behind it.

A school like Knocknagor is not simply somewhere children go from 9 until 3.

It is a community hub. It is part of our history. It is part of our identity. It is a place where people know each other, look out for one another and come together.

And that is why the possibility of losing it matters to everyone, whether you have a child attending today, attended yourself many years ago, have grandchildren there, or simply care about the future of our community.

Once a school closes, you cannot replace 90 years of history, memories, relationships and community spirit by simply putting up a new sign somewhere else.

So now is the time for our community to stand together.

🤝 Stand with the children.
🤝 Stand with the teachers and staff.
🤝 Stand with the families.
🤝 Stand with the generations of past pupils.
🤝 Stand with the future of our community.

This isn’t just about saving a school building.

It’s about protecting a community and ensuring that the next generation has the same opportunity to grow, learn and achieve here as the generations before them.

After 90 years of giving so much to our community, Knocknagor deserves to have its community stand beside it now.

Please support Knocknagor Primary School. Please share this post. Please make your voice heard.

90 years should not be where the story ends.

❤️ KEEP KNOCKNAGOR OPEN. STAND WITH OUR SCHOOL. STAND WITH OUR COMMUNITY. ❤️
