For real.
I will not budge on my standards or pre-requistes because unfortunately there have been those who I took a chance on in the past and severely let me down in so many ways.
I had someone beg & cry down the phone to let them train with me
They told me they’d do me proud, they said they had personal reasons for wanting to learn
They said they were desperate
It tore at my heart strings, so i tailored my training and took a chance even though I felt uneasy.. I took a chance as they really sounded dedicated to making this work
Until they arrived for day 1 of training - it was clear they lied about their experience. So i did not allow them to work on models and suggested they continue the practise on fake skin or their own body first.
Their first practice ni**le back home was on their partners leg, caused severe scarring. I was devastated and explained why this is why experience is important!
This type of work shouldn’t be played about with - its important, life-changing and carries heavy emotional responsibility which should not be taken lightly.
I would never forgive myself if something like this happened to someone who had been through breast cancer - it’s completely unacceptable and AVOIDABLE if people understood that this work is bigger than themselves.
This is why I say a minimum of 3 years PMU experience or 2 years traditional tattooing experience is necessary to even begin to learn this advanced skill
My training is a mentorship approach
You’re not just going to do one day training with me and be left to your own devices.
I use my traditional tattoo experience to truly create a unique experience tailored to your learning style, focused on areas you want to grow and overall give you the best guidance to send you off into the world and restore thousands of people back to their confident selves again with your artistry
This is why I do this.
Want to know how you can get supported by me, whether you’re a budding medical tattooer in the making or already do this incredible work?

Is this the kind of impact you want to be making for people?
I once had a client who came to me, almost in floods of tears as she told me about how her not having ar**la tattoos made her self-conscious, to the point that she couldn’t bare to be naked in front of her loving husband
It was upsetting, sad and heart wrenching. Despite being cancer free for over 6 years, the mental impact of not having her ar**las restored was substantial - it affected a relationship that until that point had been like any other. . .
As i tattooed her we talked in depth through the entirety of her appointment, even with a couple of giggles here and there
That first look in the mirror stopped her in her tracks..
She couldn’t stop thanking me profusely and was giddy to show her husband when she returned home. Her confidence & smile instantly beaming at her finally finding her new normal again after cancer.
But honestly, it wasn’t until she returned for her second and final appointment did I really realise the impact I had on not only my client but her relationship that day . . .
Her husband joined her and gave me the biggest hug I ever received.
He shared that it felt like he had his wife return to him again and for the first time in 6 years they were able to be intimate with each other!
She even bought a sexy outfit to show her tattoos off in ;)
A truly special moment that is one I hold dear to this day
This is the impact this work has on people. You don’t just affect one person, you have the potential to really make a ripple effect
If this story made your heart feel a little bit fuzzy, you’re the kind of person who should be supporting your community this way!

I love combining my creative skills as a tattoo artist to help people feel comfortable in their skin by covering their scars, art is SO empowering. Ive been working with scars for over ten years now - scars and the emotional power they hold have always fascinated me.
After the success of last years webinar ive decided to offer another covering the basics of working with scars and to give tips for decorative scar cover ups to help educate experienced tattoo artists how to read & work with scar tissue!
This will be hosted online via zoom on 5th march 7.30pm
The cost of this webinar is £9
My mission is to empower & educate tattoo artists on how to safely & confidently work with different types of scar tissue so people living with physical traumas of their past can have them covered with beautiful artwork!
I still hear of people TO THIS DAY being turned away when enquiring at studios about a scar cover up - this can cause feelings of shame when people already feel self conscious of their scars.
As a tattoo community, I believe we can do better!
In my free online workshop I will share with you
- different types of scar tissue
- How to assess scar tissue
- Questions to ask client
- What to consider when tattooing scar tissue
You will receive a recording off the class and a PDF worksheet emailed to you for reference after the class.
If you'd like to secure your place follow this link;
https://ar**la-academy.thinkific.com/products/live_events/Scarcoverup
After class you will be invited to join my free WhatsApp community support group for artists offering scar cover ups to continue the learning together!
Looking forward to seeing you there 😍

It isn’t as difficult as you think 👆
I truly believe that those of you out there who are ready to take on this advanced skill, learn, develop, grow and flourish by helping your communities should be given the opportunity to train with the best intentions.
Finance is the one thing I hear repeated over and over . . .
It’s tough out there, I get it. You’ve got to balance your livelihood, your families, your bills; so progressing yourself feels like it always has to take a backseat.
But what if it actually didn’t?
If you book in advance onto my ar**la mentorship, you get the unique opportunity to request a payment plan that’s tailored to you that leaves you able to pursue this incredible work, without overburdening yourself.
Speak to local charities, business even your sponsors - they may be able to support you on your mission to help other folk feel whole again!
I never expected medical tattooing to be my full time role but it is now - I tattoo ni**les every day and get paid for the privilege its a dream come true.
Through private health insurance support & NHS funding - best believe I'm working my butt off in the background to secure more NHS funded partnerships for artists looking to join NiP - the ultimate in job security!
Community over competition is so important to me - we can achieve great things when we work together.
This work is the saving grace you’ve craved I'm telling you..
Drop me an email [email protected] and tell me more about you, your years of tattooing experience and your reasons why you wish to become an ar**la artist and i'll send you more details 😉
Please be aware, when joining onto an Ar**la Mentorship, you must have a minimum of 2 years traditional tattooing or 3 years PMU experience.
A peaceful day at the studio 💛
I love my space, its so sacred to me. Tucked away on my family’s farm in the Yorkshire countryside (God’s country) I’m blessed everyday with picturesque views & cheeky chickens to keep me feeling content
Over the years of doing this work I’ve learnt how important it is to create a safe space for your clients to come to where possible, getting a tattoo can be daunting and I feel that it’s my duty to create a calm, relaxing space where possible.
The energy here is a special kind of magic ✨
Also, how incredible that my British citizens award announcement got front page news! 🤩
I’m honestly so grateful, emotional, brimming with joy all at the same time - the universe is pouring love back into me that I’ve been spreading for oh so long 💛
Did you like seeing a little snippet into a day of the life of me? Lmk if you’d like to see more 👇

This one word is exactly how I would describe it.
I started out as a traditional tattoo artist which was my dream job tbf and now i have to pinch myself, often! Travelling all over the country (and the world sometimes) speaking at prestigious events to educate the masses about the healing transformative power of ar**la tattoos.
Like what?! 🙈
Younger Lucy could have never predicted the outcome of this hard work when i first stepped on that plane to the US to train in this artform. As a single mum to my son? was so nervous to leave my boy with family for 9 days - we’d never been apart so long before!
Not only will this work give you the most wholesome feel good factor feeling in your like life, because you get the privilege to use your art to help someone heal when you restore a part of them 🫶 you also become part of a much bigger movement.
A movement to change the current standards.
At the moment, the NHS largely perform their own ar**la tattooing with nurses from cancer wards at the forefront of this effort. Whilst I understand why it’s done this way and of course each tattoo is still treated with care and compassion from everyone involved, it shouldn’t be the standard in my opinion
The NHS tattoos often fade & depending on the clinicians experience in tattooing, may cause further scarring to already delicate and fragile skin - something that completely breaks my heart everytime I see it with each week that passes.
As tattoo artists - we tattoo consistently to build up experience of different skin types, we often create realism and beautiful artwork on skin every single day.
So why shouldn’t we, with our knowledge and experience, become the standard to be able to support those in need of realistic, Ar**la tattoos.
In short, it doesn’t. It’s an industry that needs a rejig and you can be a part of that movement to change it just from learning HOW & advocating for your community through your work
Something so beautiful 💕
I have 3 remaining dates at the end of this year for 1-2 training so let’s make change together.
Drop a ✨ in the comments to find out more.

These are all ar**la tattoos, so kindly do not report 💛
These tattoos mean more than what you think and its a shame that censorship online has made loads of ar**la artists I know personally worried about sharing their work in case their livelihood is affected.
These are restoring body parts with art, it’s not nudity.
Each tattoo is unique to the wearer, based on the client’s skin tone & body shape who wear them with pride.
Their tattoos are full of healing energy, power & bring back a part of who they were before the devastating effects of cancer.
They should not be kept behind a blurred curtain just to be seen.
Have you personally been affected? Share my slide to your stories and tell the world that these pieces are necessary for people and should be celebrated, not stigmatised.
Let’s support each other and know we aren’t alone in raising much needed awareness of this service online!
✨ Community over competition✨
