Founded by a group of passionate graduates from the class of 2017, the shop is rooted in the Parkside community and now operates with a unique split ownership model. In 2024, ownership expanded to include both the original founders and the youth of Parkside School, ensuring that the next generation gains hands-on experience and carries the tradition forward. From 2013 to 2024, BD Barberz has grown while staying true to its mission of giving back. We proudly offer free haircuts on weekends, where the youth sharpen their skills under the guidance of seasoned barbers, learning the craft to one day continue the legacy. We also occasionally offer free haircuts to support our community, because at BD Barberz, it’s about more than just a fresh cut—it’s about fostering growth, collaboration, and giving back.
