🚽 PLEASE READ — TOILET NOTICE 🚽

As most of you are aware, we are located in the lower basement of the building. This means our toilet isn’t a standard toilet — it is a Macerator toilet.

For those who aren’t familiar with how it works, the system has a fan/blade mechanism that breaks down the toilet paper and waste so it can be pumped away.

Because of this, ONLY TOILET PAPER can go down the toilet.

🚫 NO sanitary products
🚫 NO wipes
🚫 NO cotton wool
🚫 NO tissues
🚫 NO anything else!

Unfortunately, we have already had to replace the macerator because sanitary products were put down the toilet. Without going into too much detail… my partner had to remove the entire toilet system and retrieve the culprit, which had become wrapped around the blades and completely broken the system. 😩

The result? We were left without a toilet for THREE WEEKS.

A brand-new system has only been installed a week ago, and unfortunately it appears that someone has already ignored the very simple rule again.

Please, PLEASE only put toilet paper and waste down the toilet. Anything else needs to go in the sanitary bin provided.

I really don’t want to have to fork out for another macerator or go through the hassle of having the toilet removed and repaired again.

If this continues to happen, unfortunately the only option may be to remove the toilet altogether, which would obviously be an inconvenience for everyone — just as having to replace it has been for me.

Sorry to be so blunt, but after the previous experience (and the fact we have literally just had a new system installed), I really need everyone to take this seriously.

Please help us keep the toilet working! 🙏🏻😂

PRICE UPDATE 🤍

This is something I really hate having to do, but after keeping my prices the same since 2024, I’ve made the decision to introduce a small price increase.

Over the last couple of years, the cost of professional products, supplies and general salon running costs has continued to increase. I’ve always tried to absorb these increases where possible, but unfortunately, I’ve reached a point where I can no longer do so without it affecting the business.

I’m incredibly grateful for every single one of you who chooses to spend your time and money with me. I never take your support for granted, and keeping my prices as reasonable as possible while still providing the quality of service and products I’m proud of is really important to me.

The new prices will come into effect from 1st September 2026 - your next appointment will be charged at the new rate if it falls on or after this date.
